Well I imagine 6'4 230 in the 70s would look more like Derrick Henry among his peers than how justin fields looks relative to the other guys on the field. I do think a very encouraging part of yesterday's game is despite all the runs I bet he got hit quite a bit less than he did in some of those games like the Giants/Packers where our interior was collapsing all game. He mostly slid or got out of bounds and was only hit a few times while passing.

Outside of the top, and with notable exceptions of Geno Smith, qb play has been pretty terrible this year.

Yaz may be cooked physically, but offers one of the few potential high obp, lhp potential on the roster. It's something they need to actually figure out, but it's one of the reasons you can't trust this FO because they looked at Carlos Rodon and determined he was done and he basically could have won the cy young and will get buku bucks.

I think it is good that the white sox did not make a "superstar" manager hire, and will have one integrated with the process of the rest of the org (including maybe outside hires of his own to put his stamp on development). I don't think the rest of the org is strong, but I do think Getz more than anyone has tinkered constantly with PD and it's a step forward. I just have a hard time believing Eloy won't have one monster season in his career. Please let it happen where we have some chance of competing and not just to get us a handful of prospects.
