QUOTE (LosMediasBlancas @ Sep 28, 2009 -> 06:26 PM) Wouldn't you need to know Korean pretty well?....and if you're teaching advanced levels of English, in English only classrooms, wouldn't you need to know English pretty well?..... I mean advanced grammar, not just basic conversation. A lot of these Korean programs are looking for complete immersion in the classroom. They train for like 2 weeks, and then you are teaching their structure and materials. No Tefl necessary, and to be frank, a lot of the "programs" that have you pay like $2000 for certification and then "guaranteed" placement are scams.

If you are looking for money, go to south korea. I'm in Brazil right now doing what you are doing. You come in Late July/December, hundreds of schools that teach english and don't give an eff about teaching certifications. The problem, i guess, there is less certainty, more illegality, but more brazilian women.

QUOTE (ChWRoCk2 @ Sep 28, 2009 -> 02:16 PM) Having 5 missed field goals against your team helps also. mare was 3 for 5 gould was 1 for 2 OMG IF GOULD WOULD"VE JUST HIT THAT FIELD GOAL WE WOULD'VE WON BY 3!!!

They need China to go along with sanctions pretty badly. Russia was a good first step.

QUOTE (SoxFan101 @ Sep 28, 2009 -> 10:01 AM) These last 2 Bears games have been plenty ugly but Ill take a win anyway you can get it, honestly all 3 games the Bears have played pretty poorly imo and been in position to win them all which I guess says something. Ill also add I think our defense played better when Hillenmeyer was taking out because of injury, I know he is smart but he is a liability on the field. I'll take looking like s*** and pulling out wins as opposed to last year where we were looking great and then losing in the last moments for the first 5 games.

QUOTE (lostfan @ Sep 28, 2009 -> 01:04 PM) lol at the comments. I really need to stop doing that. No wonder I'm so arrogant. LOL seriously. "Did he really think he was fooling us by saying he might be going? Mayor Chucky told him he better be there or else. I hope the IOC choses RIO and not Chicago.....All the mayors courupt buddies are waiting for a piece of the pie$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$" I too hope it goes to Rio, where there is no corruption and everyone will be safe.

QUOTE (lostfan @ Sep 28, 2009 -> 03:46 AM) Yeah this is obviously BS as has been noted a few times already, because this "deal" straight up would be one of the worst of all-time. Legit boycott material. I mean, still though. Besides the fact that he is dumb as hell. If just a fan on a message board did this you'd be like, lol. But Rogers stuff gets read by both teams, so surely he knows sox fans will read this, and Rogers in his past has been quite pro-sox (The sh** he'd take for going with magglio in the All-City team)... I guess what I'm getting at, is he might be so stupid, that he actually thinks this is a good deal for the sox. Wow, huh?

things we've learned since then: Fed is confirmed to be on his chest. Sources say it was not a suicide. Rumblings that there was duct tape around his neck. Great timing. I have already intimated that this killer will have acted on his own accord. But, my point is, a US congresswoman and a TV host with a 2.5 mill audience are making completely inciteful and insanely inaccurate and untrue comments, and we're being told by you to just laugh them off. Is it AS possible that this was a dumbass meth dealer not understanding that by sending a message to the feds to stay out they would be getting the opposite? Of course. Is it possible the murderer was just bats*** insane? That is not just a possibility, that is an absolute truth. and finally: That's right, none of those other forms encourage violence, but some sort of round about way of saying that the government might come after you, in the context of something that the majority of the country doesn't even realize actually happened... Yes THAT will be actually something that causes violence. I'm just going to take from this, since because kap is allowed to run free and act like this, we all are, that you are implying that michelle bachmann is right. That this is a prescient analogy, because during an actual WORLD WAR 70 years ago, we used census data to round up a population that emigrated from an enemy country, it is analogous to a 2010 census...that will be used to map out congressional seats and see what the different populations are in the country. Census' have been done for thousands of years. What a hoax. What a travesty that you are stuck defending this scum. and you wonder why we continually make fun of you for false equivalencies.

Isn't it awesome that the sox are doing exactly what we all hoped in this series, you know after they did everything possible to make sure that this series doesn't matter. -

are they like, big obnoxious turbines? Because I thought about how many birds get caught up in those things and started laughing at the thought of it raining dead birds all over the lawn.

Nick Johnson Is The Only Free-Agent Hitter That I'd Sign
bmags replied to Marty34's topic in Pale Hose Talk
With our money constraints I'd guess we're going to have to take a risk of a player, because we can't afford a sure thing. But is Johnson going to come cheap even as a risk? -
QUOTE (Tex @ Sep 26, 2009 -> 02:51 PM) We have a new housing development going in down here that will feature a turbine at every house. The cost is about $10,000 after rebates and such with what is projected to be a 9 year ROI. Currently there is a small manufactured home that sits at what will be the entrance and it has one already running. would love to see a pic
-
bigsqwert how would you expect those turbines to connect to any sort of grid?

9/25 Detroit Tigers @ Chicago White Sox
bmags replied to CaliSoxFanViaSWside's topic in 2009 Season in Review
Even if our bullpen stayed as is you couldn't guess the results of next year. I've grown to hate the art of trying to figure out before the season starts who has a good/bad bullpen. -
Kind of disappointed with Brazil beer selection so far. I was under the impression they had some more diversity...but everything so far is a pilsen. Really the only diversity is with Cachaça. So I guess I can get started on that. Luckily I have a full selection of Malbecs and Carmenera's, which good bottles are only costing me about 10-12 american dollars. I'm trying about a bottle a night. Soooooo go sox.
