How much do you think that matters? I just feel like with so many important guys they've done the Tax strategy with, I'd want the training they receive top notch so they don't miss a beat. But I don't really care if building is old so long as they have good equipment/teachers. I'd be impressed if they had everything they have in AZ in DSL but I'm sure they do not.

@Y2Jimmy0 I feel like in a fairly recent futuresox interview with Badler he implied sox DR facilities are behind compared to the rest. Didn't we just update those in 2017? Is this another comiskey park II situation where they updated something that was immediately out of date compared to the rest of the league?

I can't put Fox ahead of Nagy. His roster was so much worse and he gave Nagy Fangio.

It's funny to think about. It's like 21 jump street opportunity, basically out of baseball for two years, then going back to play in your high school as a bigger, stronger 20 year old lol. (I know he's likely played in backfields and stuff for the last two years and that DSL isn't high school etc etc)

I do really like Detroit style but it’s similar to deep dish for me in that it’s a “mood” pizza. Would much rather have a tavern style most days of the week. But when the jets hits, it hits good. Basically “60% of the time it works every time” type stuff

this is a great post, was going to say exactly this. Biggest problem is whether they believe they are or are actually not, they are not implementing a pitching system. Like so much of the white sox, they have a bunch of guys, they let them all do their own thing. It's great when they are successful, a lot of them are failures, but the org is never moving in one direction.

sadly this. It happens where years fall apart. The sad part is we know Hahn can't put things back together. I could look at 2023 free agents for the signings hahn will certainly patch in to laugh at, be very close to right, but it's hard to care about this all 10 years in. It's just pathetic.

I think Hoiberg was normal bad. I even kinda lean that Floyd was normal bad. Very controversial but I'm not so sure he was worse than Cartwright Some coaches are going to just be bad. But the truly special ones, well they turn your team into that beautiful confluence of national laughing stock that only builds the embarrassment daily as the front office is forced to admit that yes, they stand behind this moron.

Seriously, he hit that "league laughingstock" level that TLR is in. I'd say trestman, boylen, TLR were just too embarrassing. Terry Bevington was awful too.
