Joc Pederson - Is it goin down?
Woof. 108. Yeah he’s too close to the “IG he regresses he sucks” line for me.

Last year Calhoun was around 118 for wRC wasn’t he?

Joc Pederson - Is it goin down?
It’s a good question but I’d trust Jocs age 28 season being productive than calhouns age 32 season, especially with some of his wear and tear. And I’m in the minority but I think people need to value next year more than they are.

Zack Wheeler: To the Phils (5yr 118); Sox had made BIGGER offer
one of the reasons rosenthal is the best one to follow is he doesn't report things like this, he waits until they are damn near done (also a reason why I think execs trust him most, he probably holds a lot of more speculative stuff)

Zack Wheeler: To the Phils (5yr 118); Sox had made BIGGER offer
one of the reasons i wanted him last year was to give him a year to face lhp more and try and improve. But we have a good platoon boy in Engel.

2019-2020 Official NBA Thread
There is too much wrong with this team to pinpoint on just lauri. Almost every player is put in a position outside their strengths. Their defensive strategy is horrendous for a young team, especially in the modern nba, and they can't execute, and they can't shoot from three or make it around the rim. Lauri is the best representation of all of that failure but he is not the only one. Their rotations are also just horrendous, and they will blame it all on porter. They have had one of the easiest scheduels in the league to date, and have one of the worst records. It is not because they are young. It is year 3 of the rebuild, the coaching is terrible, the talent is not good enough, and they don't develop. And they have not gotten remotely lucky.

I can tell you that stat is not indicative of the bulls D, this is a good indicator: Why does it get so much worse? It's very easy to break down. As teams put their closing line-ups in, they need only minimal patience to get past the first rotation to get easy baskets. These 4th quarter collapses aren't a coincidence, and it's not about experience. A lot of teams with good players can go into cruise control. We saw it in portland as lilliard was just facilitating all night. They didn't end up needing him, if they did it wouldn't have been hard to destroy the bulls in the 4th.

questionable pasts sounds so much more ominous than "pitchers who have previously had injuries". Dodgers are a weird bunch. They have kinda targeted of injured pitchers and...it's not like they've made them healthier they have just accumulated a lot of them and they all cycle through their injuries.

Cole or Strasburg?
I'd like sox to entertain using jose iglesias as our bridge and backup infielder.

Cole or Strasburg?
So, yes, the yankees did not suddenly stop wanting to acquire premium talent. They just did a temporary reset to get below lux tax last year and avoid the harshest penalties.

One can interpret those things in positive and negative ways, I think it's pretty clear sox will be aiming still pretty high on a second pitcher. That's what I choose to believe there.

Blue jays have been a weird team. Definitely difference between this season and offseason is more teams that you are like "realllly?" are jumping into add. Obviously, since they have some of their top prospects up you don't want to waste too much time, but just a shortwhile ago they traded stroman where they had 2 years of affordable contract.

I can. I agree with the logic too. Wheeler is a better pitching acquisition than Didi or Castellanos are hitting acquisitions. THOUGH, castellanos at cinci's stadium is some whiplash.
