2018-2019 Official NBA thread
Ball is pretty good! Much better playmaker than Dunn. Dunn is awful, he's even bad defensively. Ball has better length, defense, and spreads the ball around albeit needs ball in hands a bit like ben simmons.

So they need to clear $18 million for Klay. You would need to send out Dunn, Felicio, VAlentine, and renounce blakeney, harrison and lemon. Might be possible but probably need to send out picks.

Yeah it's basically yours but getting that sweet winner smell to convince Darren Collison to sign for an exception. I think Dunn and Valentine would already need to be gone for cap space for Klay. I'm not really sure how to calculate the cap holds and stuff required. I think they'd need to clear 12 million? I think if you can get someone to take off Felicio/Dunn then that's the win.

I actually think you'd be better off getting a PG like Darren Collison as your PG for a roster like that, spread the floor, make smart decisions. Lavine/Kawhi both would want ball in their hands, adding Ball to mix may be too many players that need ball to be productive and Ball would be sagged off of too much. If we get Zion, I just want a focus on 3 and D guys. Surround him with as much shooting as possible.

Jason Benetti's commentary during Anderson vs. Royals
I liked Jason correcting stone on swing plane vs. launch angle.

It is, but the system needs some more athleticism which typically comes from high school.

I don't think they own any teams aside from AZL White Sox and DSL White Sox.

I want a high school SS or pitcher in round 2. If we go college outfielder/1b i'll croak.

4/18 Games
They are owned by a man named Billy Primm and another owner is Jimmy Strickland. Great 80s Celtics type names.

Just to be clear, the Sox do not give a shit about this.

The Anderson Saga (continued from game thread)
Probably not. Pretty on brand for Sheas tweets and the idea that he is publicist driven is pretty funny.

Every light hitting good defensive player is Yolmer Sanchez. Every good hitting poor defensive player is now Daniel Palka for ... some reason.

It's so weird how he made a big deal in the offseason of ditching his cutter because it ruined his curveball, and then he shows up throwing cutter/four-seam/changeup.

Really frustrating that the blatant cheating on that hit batter ends up deciding the game.

Ivan Nova is so important to this staff in that he can lose games for us but pitch a LOT.
