He's indispensable:

I can't stop laughing, it's too perfect For those not on twitter: Top image: the heavily being retweeted image from Kyler Murray saying he's sticking with football Bottom image: Bob tweeting out his report that the As are optimistic they will see Kyler in Spring Training

Does anyone else get an error with that link?

Pretty much all this except not that interested in Abbot. There were a bunch of 2016 intl class guys brought over from DR than barely played (Coronado, Sanchez, Guerrero*) along with some that did (mieses, comas) that I'm excited to see since I can't really imagine there is much of a backlog this time in AZ for first few months. I wonder if the sox bring over Jose Rodriguez from DSL and see how he does. Jendersson Caraballo was a 2016 signing that had a nice 2016 but was out all of last year, so interested to see where he ends up. Harold Diaz was pretty good at DSL after being signed but was an older prospect. Maybe he's a weird late bloomer so will beinteresting to see if he's in AZL.

Obviously similar but did a better job of probing contributions, titles, etc that I missed and was able to get records of. First year was most prominent and was around $250. Part of it is when you are going through the software deductions I'm just not as literate in what they are always talking about and so he helped me get my act together but now I know the motions/SALT and MIT gone made it very unlikely we'd break past the standard deduction again.

That makes sense.

That is much cheaper than what I've experienced with turbotax years ago. That said, youll find this crazy, but I usually had done my tax return personally every year on turbotax then still went to this accountant just to compare the returns and "know what to expect" in case we needed to save up for paying out. So now I'm just filing online but did get a discount for work for hr block software so I may use that instead.

2/19 was when JD Martinez signed, that's still my deadline.
-
It actually ended up being the same price which is why we still went to them. The federal return is a nice sticker price but the local returns cost on the softwares made it pretty equal and it was nice having a guy to ask about w-4 changes, etc.

Yeah I've always worried we were trying to too cutely toe the line between top of available market but not too far on top of the available market and it left someone open to make a much bigger offer (that sox would match) but by a team that was more preferred and put sox in position of needing to vastly beat it. However, I really think that there just aren't many examples of this new operating mode of teams for us to feel like "something is off". That no white knight is coming for harper, manny, kimbrel and keuchel, and they will all basically sign within a few days of each other since they aren't losing money by holding out.

Now in the standard deduction, it makes absolutely no sense to require the services of our family accountant. I assume we were always some pretty easy money for them, and have zero clue how much of their business comes from personal returns, but I wonder how many close up shop based on this year.

And also when push came to shove, this wasn't really a crowded class they were a part of, whose to say the next one is as favorable?

Best possible breaking of story would be Manny just there when all players report.
-
It’s also playing with a team that has been determined to be opaque in its direction
-
Sure but it wouldn’t have been this bad signing people hype it up to be, and the contract is not that hard to move has the Mets not metsd him
-
I still don’t think signing Cespedes in 2016 would have been bad. If the Sox wanted to compete in 2016 which they claim they did, he was clearly necessary (that was born out). Obviously signing him to the 1 year 2016 deal would have been ideal, but maybe away from the Mets brutal injury luck, their insane need to play him in CF so much, maybe the Sox could have gotten more out of him.

Tim is so electric on the basepaths I just want to see him on there more often
-
Glad to see this after the very strange interviews he has had while out of work, hopefully is feeling better mentally.

This is the most sensible roster construction they’ve had in years (Hoiberg deserves this but whatever at this point). Getting a big upgrade at PG and a star and it would be a good team with enough assets to go in position to land a top 25 guy if one was traded. If they can change out the FO, things could get better quick.

I 100% believe the yanks never even discussed money and years, and don’t believe this report at all.

The bulls have thrown out a small lineup with LM at 5 and porter at 4, are running the floor and playing with pace and...look really good.

I posted something a while back in this 75000 post thread but I think any union aims must be considered to be more likely to worry about the fact that only like 50% of free agents found jobs than worrying about top level numbers for Machado. It's very unlikely that any cba changes may increase the individual contracts of Harper or Machado as much as juicing the low-level, mid level markets to get jobs.
