  1. Wish there was ranked preference. (Singer would be very low).
  2. Yeah, true. Not sure I've read any issues on "character issues" or uh, steroids.
  3. Me neither, comps are gonna suck up some of that intrigue. Maybe if they all had deals and didn’t think they’d fall that far but low low chance.
  4. It’s mostly based off of scouting presence. Especially the Bohm thing to Phillies.
  5. Yeah, Hankins, possibly Mclanahan.
  6. Highly doubt he’d be stuck. Not an issue.
  7. Eh, is Faedo doing that well? Puk was still top 3 I thought.

An interesting part of the article was they basically let him take some time off defense early in the season to get out of his slump, so he’s catching up now.
  9. Amateur baseball players gotta meet with their optometrists more often.
  10. Renteria would be an amazing college manager.
  11. Ha, was just about to post that. Yeah just love his scouting report. The 20+ guys you end up liking based on just a paragraph, but good bat speed and plus raw power from a high schooler in second round...I’m in.
  12. I’m not really sure if these are realistic but Jeremiah Jackson or Grayson Rodriguez
  13. I thought so, but ugh I don’t want to go back and listen.
  14. Totally gonna be Wolf in 4th and Bordner in 5th.
  15. And that he wanted a college pitcher.
  16. I tend to agree. If Singer is drafted though it’s going to be difficult to look at it without cross eyes. It’s not about even being right in the pick, it’s about following a sound process. These scouts followed out based on the criteria a KW oversaw, he should trust it. also not to be a Thad but I mean based on the Hostetler interview it could be Jerry right?
  17. BA and pipeline consistently rate high performing college pitchers higher and it’s a reason I think they are worse. Fangraphs at an overall level devalued pitching prospects and I think that’s correct.
  18. I don’t know where I stand on the spoiler tags but I lean against it. The news travels too fast to regulate if you are already online.
  19. This is incredibly disappointing for not only the draft but the rebuild writ large
  20. Just got back from game. Very fun. I feel insanely confident when Jace Fry is pitching.
  21. When you hear things like Cincy is all over singer, you gotta question yourself.
  22. Sorta. I know for the White Sox we talk about how you just draft BPA but the Phillies really do have a lot of Madrigal-profile or low power guys.
  23. Wasn’t Kendall at like 28%? I remember looking it up last year and could find no mlb comp that had a k rate that bad in college. Like even Mark Reynolds was 18% or something
  24. I don’t find Liberatore to be that high upside tbh.
  25. Yeah, I guess I don’t know if it’s an evaluation issue or a draft allocation issue edit: I agree it’s an issue though.
