  1. Because I feel like asking dumb questions: What's the over/under on the amount of snaps Rex takes before getting hurt?
  2. I went today in mundelein, absolutely froze my ass off for 45 minutes but it was well worth it. I'll post pictures whenever my dad emails them to me. I know all of you are curious to see what I look like.
  3. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Dec 18, 2005 -> 09:10 PM) Whatd I miss now Comparing his qb rating to some of the all time greats their rookie seasons. Fouts, Elway, Manning, and there were a few more I forgot. Orton had a better qb rating then all of them outside of Manning who had a 71 qb rating his first year while Orton has a 69 qb rating. I know it's hard for you guys cause you're in the middle of a playoff chase but it's just unrealistic to expect a rookie qb to be even good in his first year, it almost never happens.
  4. I think that little stat showed how some of you guys have been wayyyyyy to hard on Orton. That's all I have to say.
  5. They were also 11 and 0 in which games Greasy did not attend.

    Christmas Songs

    Grandma got ran over buy a reindeer.
  7. QUOTE(RibbieRubarb @ Dec 17, 2005 -> 12:48 AM) and maybe get him a few tiny things. Smart kid. On a sidenote I celebrate and get presents for both hanukah and christmas presents due to my parents being divorced and my dad being jewish. To be honest, I'm about the least religious person you'll ever meet so I have never even thought about what is being discussed in here.
  8. QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Dec 16, 2005 -> 10:40 PM) http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/columns/stor...yson&id=2261063 Edit: Who spells their name Jayson anyway? He's making me look dumb without my mod powers too. Ha, I just got done reading that a little while ago. Gotta love the Pujols choker email at the bottom.
  9. QUOTE(AnthraxFan93 @ Dec 16, 2005 -> 10:33 PM) Dewlyn Young.. Can I ask what your obsession with young is? He's good but Guzman is much better.
  10. QUOTE(timotime @ Dec 16, 2005 -> 10:16 PM) garland for oswalt or no deal That would be a quick convo between Kenny and Purpura.
  11. The Mariners are close to signing Jarrod Washburn to a four-year deal worth $36 million-$38 million, CBS Sportsline.com reports. ----------------------------------------------------------- For anyone who doesnt think Jon would make 12-13 mill with atleast a 6 year contract in the fa market next year, ha ha ha.
  12. QUOTE(BHAMBARONS @ Dec 16, 2005 -> 07:45 PM) Shoot higher like Joel Guzman, Johnathon Broxton. Broxton matches Jenks with a 100+ MPH Fastball and a devasting slider (his best pitch). Guzman looks to be blocked at ss by Ceaser Isturis and at 3rd by top prospect Andy LaRoche. Don't forget about Furcal, bham. Right now Izuris and Guzman are both blocked by Rafael.
  13. QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Dec 16, 2005 -> 04:33 PM) If you put it in BOLD LETTERS it will still be wrong. Crede is entering his first year of arbitration. You go through arbitration three times before becoming a free agent. Let's count this out. 2006 = First year of arb. 2007 = Second year of arb. 2008 = Third year of arb. 2009 = Free Agent This is the correct answer.
  14. QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Dec 16, 2005 -> 03:55 PM) I guess I don't pay attention enough. Correct.
  15. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Dec 16, 2005 -> 01:10 PM) Only .290? Not gonna happen. BA has never stolen more than 10 bases in any given season in the minors and 17 in college, he may have decent speed but he doesn't steal bases regularly. He's got tremendous speed actually but you're correct he's not a base stealer as of right now. EDIT: By the way, I agree with the line in your sig 100 percent. That joke is the most over done thing ever, here.
  16. QUOTE(SSH2005 @ Dec 16, 2005 -> 04:35 AM) But 12 pages is too damn looong.
  17. QUOTE(joeynach @ Dec 16, 2005 -> 04:26 AM) Kenny knows you cant repeat the magic, you cant repeat luck, and you cant repeat the career years posted by Garland, Cotts, Politte, Hermy, Contreras, and others. The sox with all their strength using the most commong statistical formula (the pythagorean formula) were projected to be a 90 win team. They won 99 games, they overachieved. The pyyagorean is the most ridiculous thing ever imo, you can't tell me how many games a team is going to win by plugging in numbers. Sorry, nuh uh, doesn't work that way.
  18. QUOTE(SSH2005 @ Dec 16, 2005 -> 04:32 AM) The Blue Jays are better than us offensively? How? DH: Jim Thome > Shea Hillenbrand 1B: Paul Konerko > Lyle Overbay 2B: Tadahito Iguchi > Orlando Hudson 3B: Joe Crede = Eric Hinske / Corey Koskie SS: Jose Uribe = Russ Adams LF: Scott Podsednik CF: Brian Anderson RF: Jermaine Dye > Alex Rios C: A.J. Pierzynski = Gregg Zaun Read the whole convo before you post.
  19. QUOTE(Flash Tizzle @ Dec 16, 2005 -> 02:05 AM) Anything less than 5 million is a travesty. :headshake
  20. QUOTE(IlliniKrush @ Dec 16, 2005 -> 01:17 AM) What's better than taking finals during finals week? Having your car broken into during finals week. Oof, sorry to hear that Krush.
  21. I do not want Contreras going anywhere, the guy is just going to be a total stud this season and our best pitcher imo. He's to damn good to let go of.
