Why are people so against suring up the bench?? Mackowiak brings a solid left handed bat off the bench with a ton of versatility. He can play just about anywhere and is just a solid player. Like Tony said we wouldn't be giving up a lot to get him. I'd be all for it.

Huff would definitely be the best hitter on our team at this point. He's starting to get hot like he does every 2nd half of every season, his numbers keep rising and rising. Huff's a great, great hitter.
