  1. QUOTE(Heads22 @ May 4, 2005 -> 06:52 PM) Down to 0.77 I can't believe he gave up a run..... Baj can pitch, plain and simple.
  2. QUOTE(fathom @ May 4, 2005 -> 06:58 PM) Pods is now 3 for his last 26. Konerko is 0 for last 20.....how are we winning so much? Scott's stats are misleading. He's been giving himself up a lot to move runners along, not only that, he's still getting on base a lot.
  3. QUOTE(AddisonStSox @ May 4, 2005 -> 06:56 PM) The Royals broadcast music is so dynamic. I feel like I'm watching a secret agent movie. I want in your fan club.
  4. QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ May 4, 2005 -> 06:56 PM) Gracias...lemme guess....Sweeney homered for KC??? Good guess--almost, he doubled in a run.
  5. QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ May 4, 2005 -> 06:55 PM) What happened? Joe hit a HR???? Score? Inning? Batter? Crede went yard, 1-1 in the bottom of the 3rd. Two down for Gooch.
  6. QUOTE(El Piervizdyeguchansodnik @ May 4, 2005 -> 06:53 PM) The more I hear it, the more I love DJ's home run call. I honestly love it, no joke.
  7. Man, we should just trade for Sweeney and put him on the bench if need be, as long as we dont have to face him.
  8. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ May 4, 2005 -> 06:46 PM) I do but I can't really watch here. The IT staff here crack down on anything like that unfortunately. Ahh, gotcha. By the way how has mlb.tv worked?? I'm definitely going to have to get when I'm off to college later this year.
  9. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ May 4, 2005 -> 06:44 PM) I am stuck here down under, with no broadcast here whatsoever at Uni, watching a MLB.com gamecast that is about a minute behind. Wanna swap? I thought you got mlb.tv? Great play by Juan.
  10. QUOTE(AddisonStSox @ May 4, 2005 -> 06:41 PM) and Rawlings. BOOOOOOOOO
  11. Good pitch, bad result there. Cmon Freddy pitch out of this.
  12. QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ May 4, 2005 -> 06:24 PM) Aww, come on, Choi isn't that bad. 106 OPS+ for his career is dissappointing, but not terrible. But, if you could upgrade to Mike Sweeney for a reasonable price, I think they'll do it. Come on guys, lay off Donn a bit. I'm related to him. He's my mom's cousin (or second cousin). Easy now... That's why people are being hard on him Sorry, you left the door open for that one.
  13. QUOTE(Reddy @ May 4, 2005 -> 06:12 PM) uh... well um... actually... it's... BYE BYE!!! He's done both.
  14. QUOTE(Brian @ May 4, 2005 -> 06:09 PM) I'm actually hoping we don't hit any HRs so I don't have to hear DJ modestly say, "Bye Bye". I want us to hit as many homeruns as possible for this next week. UH-OH GOODBYE
  15. QUOTE(tonyho7476 @ May 3, 2005 -> 12:28 PM) Bull Mastiff Ditto.
  16. This seems like the first time in a while that the lineup has been the same on back to back days: lf podsednik 2b iguchi dh everett 1b konerko cf rowand rf dye c pierzynski 3b crede ss uribe
  17. QUOTE(bulokis @ May 4, 2005 -> 03:32 PM) Great to see malone pitching well. My sentiments exactly, it would be awesome to see Corwin somehow make it.
  18. Scott may be one of the more underrated players on the team.
  19. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ May 4, 2005 -> 02:09 PM) Regardless of his hip you can watch his swing, his issue has nothing to do with quickness. He's still turning on fastballs like usual, but he's failing to go with the pitches. The main reason is he's having trouble recognizing them (especially the changeup down and away) and he's also a little greedy (which is unlike Paulie). Simply put he's trying to pull everything and your gonna have a hell of a time doing much anything when thats the case. Watch him start going opposite field and you'll start seeing him get back on his groove. He has hit the ball hard though, he's just been too quick. Basically his timing is off a bit on-top of him trying to pull everything. Bingo.
  20. QUOTE(Steff @ May 4, 2005 -> 02:04 PM) Next time you get to a game.. try to be down by the section 144 - 147 area.. watch him warm up. Watch him walk. It's the same exact swagger as Belle... Paul is not going down as fast as Albert did.. but he's definitely worse than he was last year. Steff, I'm not arguing with you but he still can turn around a fastball. Maybe he doesn't trust that hip causing him to cheat more then he has to??
  21. QUOTE(Steff @ May 4, 2005 -> 02:00 PM) Ha, I knew that was coming from you But it's true, most of the time he's able to clear his hip so quickly that he can just adjust to the fastball when he's not looking for it.
