Just cause willie is fast doesn't mean he's the type of player ozzie wants. Willie can't run the bases, he can't steal a base, he can't bunt, he's really not much of an ozzieball player outside of his speed which he fails to use.

Wite, do you think it would make more sense to have arow leadoff and vizquel bat 2nd?? IMO that would be the better thing to do because omar is a much better bunter and better at moving runners along then arow, jmo.

I like the idea of Vizquel, I like the idea of Polanco, either one shouldn't cost to much money, would provide a solid hitter in the 2 hole and allow the sox to still go out and acquire more pitching. Uribe takes over the other position and willie comes off the bench, signing Polanco or Vizquel would be a great idea, imo.

I like NIU a lot also but I like Kansas a ton too. Got a tough decision to make, both schools are also popular among my current classmates, not that it's that big of a deal but it'll make the transition a little easier, I believe. Either way I'm tired of HS and ready for college.

Well he batted 2nd all year long, number 2 hitters aren't going to drive in a ton of runs. Or do you say this cause he hit few homeruns?? Once again he was the 2 hitter, he's not trying to hit homeruns, do you really want more swing for the fences guy, vizquel is a perfect fit for this team, imo, great two hitter, very solid obp, can BUNT, steal, move runners along, still plays solid defense, obviously not as much range as he used to have. I just think Omar would be an absolutely perfect fit for the sox and the type of ball that ozzie wants to play.
