  1. So this McDermott not getting any minutes after a killer first half last night is kind of bizarre. EDIT: see he got 2 fouls in his 5 minutes so I'll shut up now.
  2. QUOTE (buhbuhburrrrlz @ Nov 5, 2014 -> 07:11 PM) DROSE STARTING Aaron Brooks>D.Rose confirmed.
  3. I'm really against moving anything of value for CarGo.
  4. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Nov 5, 2014 -> 03:19 PM) I would be okay with Castro but I'm not giving up a ton for him. Yup.
  5. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Nov 5, 2014 -> 02:14 PM) I don't remember the last time a Bulls player was questionable and actually played. So I would imagine the line up is going to look like last night. Jimmy Gets Buckets was having a slight problem with his thumb last night. So that injury isn't fully healed either. 4 games in 5 nights after 3 games in 4 nights is a crazy way to start the season. I don't know why the NBA does that to teams at the start of the season. I know it's just no us, a lot of teams are going through that crap.
  6. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Nov 5, 2014 -> 12:15 PM) This. Most of us think his chronic injuries started with the tearing of his ACL in the playoffs. I think many forget, he missed 27 of the 66 games that season with various injuries. I am a big DRose fan, and have always thought he can get back to what he was. But I must say, this, and I know they are doing the smart thing using caution, is getting discouraging. He is turning into the Ken Griffey Jr. of basketball. I get the comparison but Griffey was way more accomplished before he started to go down all the time.
  7. QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Nov 5, 2014 -> 10:23 AM) I'm not going to complain about Rose sitting out but until he actually shows he can stay on the court for more than a few weeks at a time I'm going to be really skeptical that he will actually be healthy come playoff time. This is where I'm at. I don't care how many games he sits out in the first part of the season but unfortunately I have no faith in him to actually be on the court come playoff time. I just want a fully healthy Rose and Butler out there together.
  8. Brothers buckets doing it up so far.
  9. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Nov 3, 2014 -> 10:42 PM) 0 blocks? http://deadspin.com/nerlens-noel-stuffs-ja...es-o-1654300088 I guess I lied.
  10. Good ending. Kind of sucks that the last two guys to get real hot with the crowd had to go film a movie during that.
  11. QUOTE (Brian @ Nov 3, 2014 -> 07:39 PM) He looks thin but old. Face is starting to look old, still looks in good shape though.
  12. Nerlens Noel statline through 3: 6 pts, 0 Rebs, 0 blocks, 5 assists, 4 steals...
  13. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Nov 3, 2014 -> 12:33 PM) 3 of the 5 preseason All-Americans are from Illinois. Guess how many play for Illinois? All 5.
  14. QUOTE (Y2HH @ Nov 3, 2014 -> 12:40 PM) If they wanted this to be exciting, it could have been if they added Terry Tate, Office Linebacker into the equation. Half way through the walk, Tate tries to Goldberg Spear tackle him off the tightrope. Then the question isn't who would watch that? It's who WOULDN'T? But this? This was a very experienced, well trained tightrope walker walking a tenth of a mile per hour across a cable. Let me know when you start making television, I'll be watching.
  15. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Nov 3, 2014 -> 12:26 PM) Also, the "thank you God for giving me this gift," "God put me on the Earth to do this," etc. crap was annoying. No, moron, God did not select you personally to walk on a damn cable for a living. I always hate that crap but so many athletes and people like this dude do it so I'm almost immune to it at this point.
  16. QUOTE (Y2HH @ Nov 3, 2014 -> 11:48 AM) I found this incredibly boring. I did too. I guess in hindsight I'm not sure why I thought it was going to be exciting.
  17. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Nov 3, 2014 -> 11:34 AM) "Secret" scrimmages crack me up. If it was so secret how do we know who won and how many points each player scored? Nothing is secret with the internet.
  18. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Nov 3, 2014 -> 10:21 AM) the hosts talked about the possibility of him falling, they said he is trained to immediately grab for the rope. If the wind gusts, i dont see how he could control that fall, but whatever. Thats why it is DEATH DEFYING! I think it's certainly possibly that he could grab the rope if he falls but ya, that's kind of hard to control.
  19. QUOTE (Brian @ Nov 2, 2014 -> 07:56 PM) I'm watching but don't get why he does this. For adrenaline? Money.
  20. I'm watching. Can Joel Osteen fall instead?
  21. If we can get him to take a 3 year deal then I'm all in.
  22. QUOTE (Brian @ Nov 1, 2014 -> 06:34 AM) Every time a Catholic League team loses in the playoffs, an angel gets its wings. Wish Stevenson lost as well. How'd Warren do again?
  23. If Jimmy is actually going to score this season we're going to be in excellent shape. Obviously it was only one game but he flashed some signs in the preseason as well that at least gives me some hope.
