  1. I won a nice chunk of change because of this game.
  2. Drug overdose, needle supposedly still in his arm when they found him. Wow.
  3. I can't believe Aeneas Williams retired 10 years ago.
  4. Brandon Ashley might be done for the year. That really sucks.
  5. QUOTE (Leonard Zelig @ Jan 31, 2014 -> 04:59 PM) I really don't see how Seattle can win this game. I mean as far as I can tell from the past 2 weeks or so, there is only one player on the team. I assume you're being sarcastic at the expense of the media. Anywho, this is the most I've looked forward to a Super Bowl in a while. Seahawks win by a touchdown.
  6. QUOTE (ptatc @ Jan 30, 2014 -> 09:09 PM) The Iguchi play I remember was in the 2005 playoffs. He homered in game 2 of the ALDS after Graffanino's error, maybe that's what's you're thinking of. That extremely overrated defensive play of his took place in 06.
  7. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jan 30, 2014 -> 01:09 PM) This should absolutely not be played while at work or in the company of anyone who isn't ready to attend an R-Rated movie. That looked pretty awful.
  8. WGN news actually had a segment today on Punk quitting.
  9. Kyyle, Brian...we beat the crap out of Indiana State all night tonight, bizarre.
  10. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jan 29, 2014 -> 08:11 PM) They're for sure deeper and arguably better (with healthy RW) than the '12 team. Yup. Hopefully Westbrook gets and stays healthy.
  11. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jan 29, 2014 -> 09:41 AM) The thing about Punk, what is he going to do? he likes to talk a big game about MMA, but come on now, lets be real. I doubt he is jumping on the sinking ship that is TNA. This is probably half true half work, and will end up drawing a lot of attention He's an odd dude so who knows. That being said, the more I think about it, it could definitely be a work while also giving him a month off. Worth noting that there's a Raw in Chicago on March 3rd, perfect amount of time for him to get some time off, get an insane pop and still build the storyline with HHH that they can still push a tad with him gone. I guess at this point I wouldn't be surprised if he's gone or if it's a work.
  12. If he's not back in a week or two I'm guessing it's real as taking time off during Mania season isn't the best time to do so. This sucks if he's gone though, especially with no proper send off.
  13. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jan 28, 2014 -> 01:08 PM) Polar Vortex 2.0 in Chicago was much weaker than the original. Yup, I was at least able to get around these last few days, a couple weeks ago I had no such luck. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jan 28, 2014 -> 03:48 PM) It still sucks. And yup. I'm seriously ready to get the hell out of Chicago.
  14. That Batista promo was about as bad a promo as you'll ever see. Thank god for Brock.
  15. QUOTE (Brian @ Jan 26, 2014 -> 10:50 PM) It was fine. Not great but not as bad as crowd made it. I actually liked Orton taunting the crowd. It wasn't a bad match at all. That being said it got s*** on because Bryan is the most over guy in the last decade and they refuse to give the fans what they want. I always give the company the benefit of the doubt because it's just entertainment after all but I'm tired of putting money into this product(and I put way too much into it as is) if they're going to just slap their fans in the face.
  16. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Jan 26, 2014 -> 04:52 PM) Just think of me as the Seattle version of Soxobama, WITHOUT ALL OF THE CAPS and false claims of front row seats. Oh, and I can definitely see scenarios of my team losing. You buy your Richard Sherman jersey yet? I kind of want one now.
  17. QUOTE (Brian @ Jan 26, 2014 -> 02:02 PM) I'll say it until Mania, if they do it, I just don't understand putting a guy in the main event of your biggest show ever who has been gone for 4 years and isn't all that legendary. Especially when you just unified into one major title. It's not like Batista is close to being The Rock. Does the E not want to see 70,000 chanting YES in unison? It's a big slap in the face to fans if they do it. I hate to be that guy who overly complains about a scripted sport but having a guy who is arguably the most over guy in the last decade possibly in the 5th biggest match at Mania is just a joke. QUOTE (Soxfest @ Jan 26, 2014 -> 03:36 PM) Just saw this Royal Rumble betting odds. 30 Man Royal Rumble Match (Top 5) Batista (4/11) Daniel Bryan (2/1) CM Punk (6/1) Roman Reigns (10/1) Big E Langston (25/1) WWE Title Match: Randy Orton (1/6) vs. John Cena (7/2) Brock Lesnar (1/10) vs. The Big Show (11/2) Bray Wyatt (4/11) vs. Daniel Bryan (2/1) Kickoff Pre-show: The New Age Outlaws (1/8) vs. Cody Rhodes and Goldust (9/2) Credit: SkyBet via Rajah.com My one roommate is a huge gambler and wrestling fan so he's been all over this. Bryan wasn't on the board at the start of the week, then had like the 4th best odds a few days ago and at some point today was a pretty decent sized favorite. Who knows what that all means but it's interesting for sure.
  18. I get more excited for the Rumble than I feel I should. I'm looking forward to tonight. Swerve...please.
  19. QUOTE (bmags @ Jan 25, 2014 -> 10:03 AM) Its not dumb, otherwise Kareem Abdul jabar is GOAT Huh?
