  1. Ya that was a massive fail on the song selection.
  2. Not to be the ass that says "if you were at the game" but that play was so much better live compared to tv cause you actually got to see just how far he went and how quick he got there.
  3. QUOTE (GoodAsGould @ Apr 14, 2012 -> 10:41 AM) Did you not watch the SS we faced in the first 3 games of the season? I really don't think Andrus wouldn't have gotten to that, Alexei was shot out of a f***in cannon, it was sick.
  4. It's kind of hard to tell in the Upper Deck so how did Peavy actually look? The results were obviously fantastic but how'd the stuff look?
  5. QUOTE (greg775 @ Apr 13, 2012 -> 11:03 PM) Is Indiana your national champion in 2012-13? They definitely have a shot. I'd lean towards Kentucky once again at the moment.
  6. Alexei's range is legit insane. No other ss in baseball gets to that ball, not to mention the flip to becks, unreal.
  7. QUOTE (elrockinMT @ Apr 11, 2012 -> 08:17 PM) Beckham is not gone for Castro. Castro had his best hitting season last year at 24/25 years of age but has no pop at all and doesn't steal bases. I see him as back up infielder at Charlotte Nothing gets by you!
  8. QUOTE (Rex Hudler @ Apr 11, 2012 -> 07:56 PM) UCLA gets the #1 and #3 player according to Rivals. Guess we'll be seeing a quick turnaround there. They've been awful for 2 out of the last 3 years so I'm not sure id consider it a quick turnaround.
  9. It's obviously way too early to make this declaration and I'm sure Santos will be fine but the one thing I can say is that we had major league ready uber talented replacements for the 3 main guys that KW traded/let go.
  10. Through 4 games we're pretty much what I expected, we have a great bullpen, a good rotation if they're healthy and a lineup with a lot of holes in it. This is pretty much what I'm expecting all year.
  11. QUOTE (iamshack @ Apr 9, 2012 -> 08:56 PM) And those "mediocre C+" starts we got... #bullpenawesomeness
  12. QUOTE (Heads22 @ Apr 9, 2012 -> 07:24 PM) Sale...he's doing ok. If we can get him to start throwing first pitch strike(much better the last 2innings) it's going to be absolute domination.
  13. Remember when we used to joke that Ozzie wouldn't play Brian Anderson because Brian must have been a communist? Maybe the problem was that he wasn't one..
  14. QUOTE (mcgrad70 @ Apr 7, 2012 -> 08:35 PM) Me either. Sox fans just have a hard time dealing with certain realities. They are content to having a second rate organization in no worse than the third largest baseball market in the known universe. I'm not. And I don't want to hear about 2005. A bunch of marginal players had career years and they won. They have one hall of fame candidate from that team - and he didn't even play in the series. They haven't come anywhere to being that good since. Where I come from that's one-hit wonder. So between Michael Jordan whom he inherited (and b****ed about paying) and 2005, Reinsdorf is the greatest thing since sliced bread. Good god this post is just filled with awful. One of the worst posts I've ever seen on this board. Truly impressive.
  15. QUOTE (zenryan @ Apr 8, 2012 -> 05:05 PM) is it premature to put an "x" in front of Detroit in the standings? They're going to give up sooooooo many runs.
  16. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Apr 8, 2012 -> 03:29 PM) Viciedo can play power forward, Cespedes can be the PG. I don't want Peavy and Boozer on the same team, that's a lot of yelling.
  17. QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Apr 8, 2012 -> 03:27 PM) He does not have a 50+ inch vertical. And even if he did, that means nothing in baseball. Catch up to that high fastball with his jump swing...
  18. QUOTE (sunofgold @ Apr 8, 2012 -> 02:21 PM) Fister going on the 15 day DL. Bad news for the Tiggs. He is their #2. Baltimore guy has no-hitter against Minnesota. Blue Jays threatening again against Cleveland's bullpen (hahaha!) If Fister is going to be nagged with injuries all year, Detroit is in a world of hurt, no rotation depth.
  19. The Tigers might score and give up 1000 runs this year...
  20. QUOTE (iamshack @ Apr 8, 2012 -> 03:01 PM) That includes him. He got stripped, then stood around and did nothing during the Knicks last possession...didn't guard, didn't try to rebound...just stood around watching. Ya. I guess Carmelo was playing the role of Mario Chalmers today.
  21. QUOTE (Reddy @ Apr 8, 2012 -> 02:59 PM) Heath Bell just blew a save. Lol. :headbang
  22. QUOTE (iamshack @ Apr 8, 2012 -> 02:58 PM) That one's on Rose. He was bad but we also have to get a f***in rebound at the end of OT. Ridiculous.
  23. QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Apr 8, 2012 -> 02:56 PM) I don't say this often, but the Bulls deserve to lose. Ya no doubt. That was gross.
