Hate to say this, but Frank didn't get in with two extra players on the roster this year and an anotehr spot because of the injury to Sweeney. Maybe it just wasn't meant to be? Or maybe he should have had a better April? Or maybe we should boo every single player in the game since the "players" are the ones that voted Carl Everett into the game, who seems to me to be the least deserving candidate.

That will show lots of class. Boo guys who have had great seasons so far. Frank had chances to get in. His peers didn't vote him in. The fans didn't vote him in. Now the manager has passed over him for someone that indeed deserves to be there. I still think Frank deserved to go over Carl Everett, but the players disagreed. I have no problem with Varitek or Giambi getting chosen.

Wouldn't it just suck if all those votes were for naught? I am highly doubtful that those votes ever counted.

Neal Cotts is NOT ready for the Majors right now. Could he go up there and have success in the short term? Very possibly. But he is not ready to be a Major League pitcher and the Sox know this.

For one, why in the hell would Florida even consider dealing Willis? or Pierre for that matter? Maggs makes more money than Lowell, so that makes no sense. Deals have to make financial sense as well as sense on the field. These don't.
