  1. How f***ing stupid. But Aaron did dazzle with his glove.
  2. I mean really, who hasn't been charged with child molestation in Vietnam? This guy is defintely a sicky.

    XBOX advice

For a completely different type of game...Prince of Persia: Sands of Time. There are three games in the series, but start with Sands of Time because A) you should be able to buy it new, real cheap and B) its the first game in the series. It may sound or look like a weird game, but its one of the top 5 games I've ever played.
  5. Does anyone else think Juggs has Autism? Here are the symptoms in children....Juggs, were you like this? Appears indifferent to surroundings Appears content to be alone, happier to play alone Displays lack of interest in toys Displays lack of response to others Does not point out objects of interest to others (called protodeclarative pointing) Marked reduction or increase in activity level Resists cuddling I'm just f***ing with you of course. I went with over 100 wins.
  6. QUOTE(watchtower41 @ Jan 5, 2006 -> 03:16 PM) I wouldn't hold your breath on a full or 2nd edition coming out. Hell, there was no guarantee that we would even get a box set like this at all, I'm extremely pumped that we at least get this. MLB and A&E only started doing boxsets like this 2 years ago. The Yankees and BoSox are the only other teams to have sucha boxset. The perks continue to roll in..... as it has been, feeling good to be king. I agree...this is great. I just would love be able to watch the 1st inning of the Boston series, whenever I want. Nothing like a good old ass-beating.
  7. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Jan 5, 2006 -> 01:40 PM) I talked to Bull a couple of weeks ago via PM actually. If you are interested in his progress, he had an MRI after the season he was afraid would reveal the need for Tommy John, which it did not. It did reveal bone spurs but he has been working to fix his throwing motion a little bit so that there wouldn't be as much stress on it anymore. He also said that in under 10 throwing sessions that his arm strength has really come back and he is very close to throwing at 100% of his healthy velocity. He is also very excited with the trade of Damaso Marte meaning that only Arnie Munoz and Paulino Reynoso stand between him and a spot in the Chicago White Sox bullpen. I don't know if Jim has anything else to add, but I figured I would chip in what I knew from the mouth of the Bull so to speak The Bull is Bajenaru, right?
  8. QUOTE(Chisoxrd5 @ Jan 5, 2006 -> 02:15 PM) Apparently us *normal* season ticket holders do have to wait till January 24th to buy our tickets for additional games. They are going to be setting it up online so even we get to deal with ticketmaster to score some extra seats :banghead Keep checking your email Tony...thats what they told me to do Cool, I'll keep an eye open. Thanks for the info.
  9. QUOTE(Controlled Chaos @ Jan 5, 2006 -> 11:39 AM) What do I look like a clown to you?? You know...red nose, big shoes, multi-colored hair.
  10. QUOTE(RME JICO @ Jan 5, 2006 -> 10:17 AM) Didn't the Boston package include the entire ALCS and the WS? That is 11 games, so it sucks that we are only going to get 6 games. So no 14-2 pounding of BOS in Game 1, or the comeback in Game 2 (Gooch HR), or back to back to back to back CG's vs Anaheim? I would have paid the extra money for all 12 games. Agreed...things could change...I could see a complete set come out.
  11. QUOTE(Controlled Chaos @ Jan 5, 2006 -> 11:30 AM) Do you know me or something?? I heard you are actually being hunted right now...aren't you Joey the Clown?
  12. QUOTE(Controlled Chaos @ Jan 5, 2006 -> 11:16 AM) Well this is just gonna suck then...we had our order in the beginning of October. I understand they have to cater to ST holders first, I just can't believe they are all gone. I think you should do it Outfit style...head down to Comiskey and make them an offer they can't refuse!
  13. QUOTE(Steff @ Jan 5, 2006 -> 10:47 AM) Why don't you ask the ticket guy rather then the marketing guy... ? Tom Sheridan is his name. Steff, I'm new to the season ticket thing...and I have not yet payed the second installment of my package...its due the end of the month. Did you already have the option to purchase additional tickets? Or how does that work?
  14. Read that too. Not sure how much I believe it. Although, I would think they would use the Count to meet other needs. SS is certainly not a need.
  15. Couple issues, if you played multiplayer for Halo, anyone would like it. That is the real experience. And the single-player is fun too. As for the PS3 and XBOX360, I might buy both. It all depends on what comes out for the systems. I'll probably get the 360 because I love Halo. And I'm sure the PS3 will have some can't miss titles, so that will probably find its way into my collection too. I'm in no rush to get anything right now. 360 has nothing I need to play RIGHT NOW.
  16. QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Jan 4, 2006 -> 05:49 PM) but we all pretty much knew 7 discs wouldnt hold 12 games. http://www.soxtalk.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=44533 Not all of us
  17. Its up on the Sox website now...here are the details... Mackowiak
  18. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Jan 4, 2006 -> 02:55 PM) He's not worth much if he is hurt as usual... The Orioles will train him how to run bases, and avoid line drives off the forearm, so this won't happen. If the Cubs keep him, I hope they don't do that.
  19. QUOTE(Dick Allen @ Jan 4, 2006 -> 02:51 PM) But they could trade him for a slew of prospects and not get a lot of grief about it from their fanbase. True. They aren't in any position right now to win that division. They'll probably be right above the Devil Rays. Maybe they need to stock up prospects, and compete in a couple years. By then, maybe the Yankees and Red Sox will have slowed down the spending spree...NOT!
  20. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Jan 4, 2006 -> 02:30 PM) Well hopefully we can come to something with Crede, but I am not holding my breath. It still would not surprise me to see a deal involving Contreras for a 3B, reliever, and prospects. Good to hear we got a deal done. This guy should be a fun utiliity guy to watch. And I'm with you southsider...all this Tejada talk is exciting, but Crede is not signed. So I would be more interested in getting something done involving a third basemen. Plus, who doesn't love Uribe?
  21. QUOTE(RockRaines @ Jan 4, 2006 -> 02:45 PM) If I was the O's Prior would be of greater value to me than Contreras No doubt...the Count is a rent-a-player...unless they sign him.
  22. QUOTE(Steff @ Jan 4, 2006 -> 09:17 AM) Eh.. suck it up. I'm an equal opportunity b**** to all. This is true
  23. QUOTE(whitesoxin' @ Jan 3, 2006 -> 04:24 PM) Why would you jump on somebody for saying 23K. That's only 15% off. Yeah Steff, I am a delicate flower. You can't just jump all over me, I'm liable to cry. Steff make Tony sad.
  24. QUOTE(drowninginflame @ Jan 3, 2006 -> 04:12 PM) What do the sox and bobby brown have in common? they both beat the s*** outta houston Ouch...good one!
