Sox sign Mackowiak to 2 year deal

Featured Replies

Score just reported we inked Rob to 2 years plus an option. I think it was in the neighborhood of 2-3 million per year.

two years at 5.3 million, plus the option year.

Cool, now he just has to try to get a deal done with the Rally Crede and we're set.

sweet KW getting everything squared before the 4 greatest words in the english lang are said..

Pitchers and Catchers report!

Excellent news....a strong utility guy like this is an important part of any team. He's great insurance if anyone gets hurt and a strong bat off the bench. Another good move by Kenny....but one that will probably get overlooked by a lot of people considering the "bigger" moves he has made this offseason.

Well hopefully we can come to something with Crede, but I am not holding my breath. It still would not surprise me to see a deal involving Contreras for a 3B, reliever, and prospects.

Good job by the Sox locking up a great utility player and not to mention a Sox fan.

So the only person still up for arb is Crede?

keep up the good work Kenny

Good to hear we got a deal done. This guy should be a fun utiliity guy to watch.

And I'm with you southsider...all this Tejada talk is exciting, but Crede is not signed. So I would be more interested in getting something done involving a third basemen. Plus, who doesn't love Uribe?

Rob Mackowiak sign 2 year deal + 3rd year option.Just heard this on 670 the Score.

Dude, read the board!!! Its pinned right on top already :bang

Good job by KW wrapping Mack up for a couple years. 3rd year option is a really good perk to the deal. Crede....you're up next.

Its up on the Sox website now...here are the details...

Mackowiak

WHITE SOX WEDNESDAY!!!!!

Great news, can't wait to see Rob on the field for us.

This sounds good :)

Very good deal by KW. Crede will go to arb with Bor-ass I am afraid.

Again, welcome to the South Side Robby Mack.

:gosox3: :gosox2: :gosox3:

sounds like a good deal to me.

it's always nice having someone like him off the bench, hopefully he'll be as skillful and clutch as the great timo.

I guess I was surprised by the money but I guess its worth it if he hits the Cubs like he did in the past!
