  1. QUOTE (MHizzle85 @ Jun 14, 2009 -> 01:03 PM) Or maybe the next finals is in 2010..... I'm going to agree and say that would be the case, however, do not think that 2010 free agency has nothing to do with it. Looks like the Nike Marketing team is killing 2 birds with 1 stone, or 2 messages with 1 ad.
  2. Thought this ad was odd.... The bird in Knick Colors and the 2010 throw in
  3. QUOTE (whitesoxbrian @ Jun 12, 2009 -> 05:58 PM) I'd go with: Hanley Ramirez Evan Longoria Albert Pujols Ian Kinsler Joe Mauer Zack Greinke Roy Halladay Cole Hamels Tim Lincecum Dan Harden Replace Dan Haren with Santana and Mcab for Longoria.

    Conditioner

I've always used conditioner. I'm pretty sure conditioner restores all the natural oils from your hair that shampoo strips out.
  5. Maybe it is the spoiled basketball fan in me, watching greats like MJ,Reggie,Barkley,Malone,Stockton etc, but damn, Superstars NEED to hit their free throws. I can't even recall shaq missing 2 clutch free throws in such a crucial moment. NBA Stock Market NBA Legends Phil Jackson +25% Kobe Bryant +20% . . . Superstars . . .Dwight Howard -25% . Semistars . . .Rashard Lewis -10% .Hedo -10% Dwight NEEDS to hit clutch shots for anyone to take him seriously as a superstar.
  6. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jun 12, 2009 -> 11:59 AM) AJ, I don't mean to call you out cause your a long time poster and a very good one at that (and it is with that in mind that I think you can handle this) but I want to point out this post as being the type of post we dont' want to see at Soxtalk. While I realize you are stating the obvious in the sense that clearly there is a bit of an overreaction to Alexei Ramirez play. However at the same time, BearSox is sharing his opinion (not fact, opinion). I'd rather see you say, I disagree and heres why or just ignore the post overall. There is no need for the semi personal attack. Again AJ, don't mean to call you out, but I want posters to see what I'm talking about when I say I want to see some changes. You are absolutely right. Got caught in the moment. Sorry about that Bearsox.
  7. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jun 11, 2009 -> 10:40 PM) I haven't "Watched" a game on a weeknight the entire playoffs. Forgive me, I'm still at work. I do have the NBA audio league pass. You know what I mean. This thread is a ghost town. Why would you root against a dream match up if you are a true NBA fan?
  8. I find it funny that most people in this thread were rooting against CLE-LA finals, yet no one seems to be watching the Finals,at least that's what I interpret from the low activity in this thread since the Finals started. I question fans like that. Are you really a basketball fan? You root against a dream match up, but where are you when it does not happen? Where is everyone? Because I guarantee there would be floods of posts if it were LA-CLE. Personally, I root against STALE match ups (SA-Det, SA-NJ) . BTW, I am still watching. Go Magic
  9. QUOTE (BearSox @ Jun 11, 2009 -> 10:19 PM) Nice win, but... I've mentioned this before, but I'm getting pretty sick and tired of watching Alexei out there. I've been one of his biggest fans and backers the past 2 years, but this s*** is getting old. Since there's not much hope for the rest of the season, IMO, there's no point in not letting Alexei go out there everyday and try and prove something, but I'm getting to the point where I don't think he's good enough to be an everyday player. I would not be upset at all to see Beckham getting a lot of time at SS. Alexei can still be a very valuable utility guy who can play all 3 OF spots as well 2B, 3B, and SS with average or better D. However, I don't think Alexei can be counted on as an everyday player. He tries to hit home runs every AB, and he just doesn't seem to have much baseball IQ (he's a natural player, but he's a bonehead). overreact much? Thank God you are a poster and not a GM.
  10. Cubano, I also have to back Kyle here. He jokes a lot. Don't take no offense to it.
  11. Too bad this thread was moved. Now it will probably die.
  12. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Jun 10, 2009 -> 03:25 PM) But there is a theme there nonetheless - those are guys are or were very honest and upfront about their beliefs and policies. thanks
  13. QUOTE (lostfan @ Jun 10, 2009 -> 03:16 PM) All over the spectrum with that. how so? This thread is about politicians we like. Not necessarily who we vote for.
  14. Barry Goldwater Ron Paul Jesse Ventura Dennis Kucinich
  15. Best Bump Ever. Lay off Sqwert. I love when the whiners are wrong. Hopefully I have a reason to bump the Freddy thread.
  16. I don't see anything wrong with Rock's posts. He's right. Too many negative people here. A reason I frequent PHT a lot less.
  17. I Like it. The game last year piqued my interest in Freddy. Minor league deal, why not?
