  1. Predictive typing in blackberrys sucks. Get a full keyboard whatever direction you go. I have the 8703 bb, I like it very much. Its basic, but I am upgrading to the curve because of added features. No phone is as good with emailing as a blackberry.
  2. QUOTE(Brian @ Nov 25, 2007 -> 07:12 PM) If Michigan is second tier, what is Illinois? Who Michigan and IOWA beat? Both teams 6-2 in conference. Illinois is within the BCS portion of the rankings. Michigan is not. Hence, second tier. Heres a little webpage for your wolverine eyes. http://www.bcsfootball.org/bcsfootball/
  3. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Nov 25, 2007 -> 07:10 PM) Plus you HAVE TO be in the top 14 of the BCS standings. Ah yes, that little caveat. Illinois fans should be big oklahoma fans this weekend as well.
  4. QUOTE(Brian @ Nov 25, 2007 -> 07:00 PM) So Michigan wouldn't be an option? If it comes to money, the Rose Bowl will pick Michigan. Basically, no. They would pick the best big ten team left, and that team is Illinois. Michigan is second tier.
  5. QUOTE(max power @ Nov 25, 2007 -> 06:10 PM) Clement is going to be better than jose this year? No, but the grass is always greener....
  6. Good, im glad the team heard me. Still done though.
  7. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Nov 24, 2007 -> 06:17 PM) Bulls without Deng look done. I wonder if Skiles will be on the hot seat soon, or how about Paxson even? Nah, Pax put good players in place and they arent playing. Neither one of them will be in trouble.
  8. Put a fork in them, they are done. I would like to say goodbye to every member of the O-line except for Olin. I hope this is the last time we see Benson and Peterson, and the defensive backs need to be re-evaluated. This needs to be a drastic offseason for the Bears.
  9. They should sell the EL, maybe then it would be halfway reliable.
  10. QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ Nov 25, 2007 -> 05:51 PM) Maybe. Of course after firing both Turner and Babich, getting rid of most of the o line, half the db's and both running backs, MAYBE this team will be .500 next season.
  11. QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ Nov 25, 2007 -> 05:39 PM) Sure, the line sucks and hte receivers aren't all that good but Grossman's just bad. Running game produces 3 yards per carry, the offensive line gives up the most sacks in the league. Grossman hasnt had much of a chance. He still sucks, but he could be passable behind a decent line and an actual running game. Oh and a halfway decent o coordinator.

    Snow Tires

QUOTE(3 BeWareTheNewSox 5 @ Nov 25, 2007 -> 02:59 AM) I might get a Mini soon, I saw they have a free option to change to all season tires, I'm guessing I'll do this, think it will make a big difference? I dont know, nothing is better than the handling and ride on some 19 inch summer racing tires. My blizzaks dont nearly perform the same way on the highway.
  13. QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Nov 25, 2007 -> 05:36 PM) Well he eats innings, but he does a crappy job doing it. If they can trade Contreras to ANY team who wants to eat his contract, I'd use that money to sweeten the offer to Andruw Jones. Build a great offense -- you add Jones, a real LFer (not Jerry Owens) and Cabrera and you have an above average offense -- and hope your bullpen is good as hell. As far as who would take his spot? Well, Danks and Floyd seem like locks, and then you have Haeger/Broadway/Gio/Egbert competing for the fifth spot. Or you sign someone like Clement, Garcia or Colon. Yeah, I'm not saying going with a back three of rookie and second year pitchers is particularly smart, but risks need to be taken somewhere if Kenny really wants his 2008 team to win 90 games. We arent trading the contract. We are paying for someone to take him, and it would cost about as much to sign one of those crappy pitchers to eat innings, so basically its just moving pieces. The better scenario is to keep Jose, or trade him for something of value, and have someone take ALL of the contract.
  14. QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ Nov 25, 2007 -> 05:10 PM) Grossman IS soft as can be. He's afraid of being hit, he's "small", can't handle snaps, can't hold onto the football... but at least he's "better" than a fifty year old man, eh? He also has the luxury of being behind the worst offensive line in football.
  15. QUOTE(BearSox @ Nov 25, 2007 -> 04:48 PM) do people here actually think Jose Contreras is good? Getting rid of Contreras and his contract would be a godsend. And we would start who in his place? We are going to have 2 rookies in the rotation already, there is no better option than Jose to eat innings at this point.
  16. I know the Bears suck and all, but come on CBS, we are WELL AWARE you are an AFC affiliate. Jesus.
  17. Nice scenario mets fans, but how does that benefit us at all?
  18. Well, here is the biggest Oklahoma fan next saturday. OU beats Mizzou and the bucks vs WVU in the national title game. Personally one of the matchups I want to see is LSU v Hawaii
  19. Andruw Jones. They have been after him for years.
  20. Here's to hoping the dominoes continue to fall for the buckeyes.
  21. I'd rahther give hunter's deal to jones over hunter. I'd be extremely pleased to sign jones. He would hit 6th in a lineup in a small ballpark with pretty good opps for rbis. He would be a monster.
  22. Frankly I think that kw has been targeting andruw jones as well, and I think over the next 6 years he outproduces hunter. I'd like to make a splash with him.
  23. Wow, two bad moves by the angles already. That contract is going to cause a lot of headaches in southern cal. With all that money tied up, they better hold on to those young players.
  24. ESPN.com I know kw is hurting after this one. But its a horrible deal. the Angels had absolutely no need for a CF'er and have basically given up on Mcab, which is good news for us.
