    Haunted Houses

I personally love going to haunted houses. Does anyone else go? Which ones? What did you think. Im planning on hitting up Dream Reapers in Melrose park in the next few nights.
  2. Never seen Terminator either. Up until this year i'd never broken up with someone, I either ignored them until they got the point, blew them off, or cheated.
  3. Well, I loved the Gray pick, and am loving it more and more. If he learns to move his feet a bit he could be a double-double type of player. Of course he could just be a hack as well.
  4. Danks wasnt supposed to even play in the majors this year, but showed enough stones and talent to warrant a full season before he was due. This trade STILL looks great for us.
  5. QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Oct 24, 2007 -> 02:41 AM) It'd be asinine to not include Bourgeois on the 40-man after putting up a very solid year in the minors. Especially when it appears he has lead-off hitter potential.
  6. QUOTE(Jenksismyb**** @ Oct 24, 2007 -> 09:46 AM) Really? How did that work for them in the Iowa game? Or the Michigan game? Lots of rushing yards? I'm not saying that can't be a component to the offense, but it's really not hard to understand why a bottom-feeder team can lead a conference in rushing - thats all they did to move the ball. The passing game is one of the worst (if not THE worst) in the big ten, and damn near the bottom in all of d-1a. Well even with the top rushing attack in the conference, they are dead last in total offense, and dead last in 3rd down conversions and 1st downs.
  7. QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Oct 24, 2007 -> 12:15 AM) Yeah, he was given the third star tonight and had three points. He might not turn into the prolific scorer we'd all hoped for, but if he becomes a solid second-line player who can consistently give the Hawks 20-25 goals and a total of 60-70 points, he'll be a valuable commodity to have and -- more importantly -- I'll finally have a jersey that I can wear proudly. He filled the role on that line that we need. Someone who is physical, fore checks, and scraps in the corners. This is the role that we need him to play with 2 more talented scorers on his line.
  8. QUOTE(thedoctor @ Oct 24, 2007 -> 09:16 AM) i'm pretty sure they stress the option game because they've been the best running team in the league for the past two years. you play to your strengths. But thats been because they cant throw and have stressed the run. If you have this "great" runner that everyone talks about he should be able to run off of any formation and scheme. IMO Ill is too talented to run the option. I leave that to teams like the service academies and alot of high school teams that need to run those plays because they are inferior talent-wise.
  9. QUOTE(juddling @ Oct 23, 2007 -> 02:19 PM) i guess it's just me but i have seen Philly 4 or 5 times and i just don't think it's all that funny. Then again..i never saw HUGE comedic potential in Arrested Development either. Though i did like AD better. If you get a chance, watch the episode Sweet Dee dates a retard. Its a classic.
  10. I got the email. Honestly at this point, I dont think much of the event like I did in years previously.
  11. QUOTE(Cali @ Oct 23, 2007 -> 12:57 PM) "I'm your bro, I'm Broda." hahah Earlier in the thread, I said How I Met Your Mother was the 2nd best comedy on TV next to The Office, but honestly this season it's been WAY better than the Office. I'm moving it up to Number 1 for right now. You obviously dont watch Its Always sunny in Philly. How I met your mother is one of my fav shows, but Sunny in Philly is the funniest show on tv.
  12. QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Oct 22, 2007 -> 11:50 AM) As far as I can tell, it looks like both of you are right. Base of the brain and behind the sinus cavity aren't like mutually exclusive locations within the human body. Exaclty, I was trying to point out that the "base of the brain" is not really where people think it is. Its actually closer to your mouth that to your neck.
  13. QUOTE(YASNY @ Oct 22, 2007 -> 02:14 PM) Babe Ruth. Who knows what was in all those hot dogs he used to eat? Cocaine was an over the counter drug for awhile way back wasnt it? Im sure some guys used that.
  14. QUOTE(Steve9347 @ Oct 22, 2007 -> 04:10 PM) and Patrick Kane leads all rookies in points... i cant believe this. He's seriously ridiculous. When he has the puck, it appears that he always is thinking 2 plays ahead and appears so calm. Its eery to see an 18 year old pro athlete perform like that.
  15. heres a link to Rocky's memo http://blackhawks.nhl.com/ext/rockywirtzmemo.pdf thats probably the greatest news of the year.
  16. QUOTE(fathom @ Oct 22, 2007 -> 02:44 PM) No, I don't think he could have lead that drive. However, I think he completes that deep pass to Hester for a TD. If the Bears don't have that drive yesterday, Griese would have been ridiculed for that weak pass and fumbling on the goal line. Griese did a very good job yesterday of side-stepping the rush. That's something Rex is pathetic at. The fumbled snap near the endzone is overlooked because we won, but that very much could have been the deciding factor of the game. Its hard for ANY QB to hit Hester on that deep ball because its hard to anticipate his speed.
  17. QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ Oct 22, 2007 -> 12:59 PM) Without harping on Grossman too much -- does anyone here think he could handle a drive like that without anyone calling plays? He'd probably throw it downfield immediately and watch it returned for a touchdown. Not so much the throws, but the play calling and the protection schemes. Griese was calling out all the protections pre-snap against the Eagles zone-blitz package. Even with them falling back into coverage, he had to make some decisions that I do not believe Rex could have made.
  18. QUOTE(MHizzle85 @ Oct 21, 2007 -> 11:08 PM) IMO, Silva's the best middleweight in the world period. At the point where he just bobbed and weaved Franklin's combo, everyone that I watched it with was in awe. I don't see him dropping the belt anytime soon. Franklin looked out of shape and was just dominated again. He used to be a strong guy in his division and really stood no chance in there. Vera/Silvia was a disappointment.
  19. I hope the layoff didnt kill Col's momentum. I would really like to see them take it home.
  20. QUOTE(joesaiditstrue @ Oct 22, 2007 -> 05:07 AM) just want to state that the pituitary gland isnt' at the base of the brain, its behind your sinus cavity my dad's pituitary adenoma (growth) was removed through an invasive surgery through his nose, leaving no visible scarring which of course is nice! and he was put on a topical steroid called Andro Gel, so these types of growths often times require hormonal treatments such as steroids or hgh Umm, its located at the base of the brain, it just so happens that the base of the brain can be accessed through your nasal passage, or even behind the upper lip in that procedure.
  21. QUOTE(SoxFan562004 @ Oct 22, 2007 -> 07:40 AM) A few times this year I've heard national outlets mention the 4 complete games from the ALCS. I think that will be the legacy of the 05 team. It's unavoidable to bring that stretch up if they're trying to point to pitching performances by a team during the playoffs. Alot of people didnt believe that Hou belonged in the WS, and after it was all said and done, it appeared that they were right. Frankly, the best series in that entire playoffs for us was against Boston.
  22. QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ Oct 22, 2007 -> 09:38 AM) Lol you dont think some of it has to do with the redsox having 2 of the better post-season pitchers in recent history and 2 of the better hitters in all of baseball? Well Cle had two of the best pitchers in the league, and some of the best hitters as well. They also have probably one of the biggest man crushes of this site leading off for them. They just didnt play when it counted. The talent level was very even.
