Good stuff from Buster Olney
QUOTE(aboz56 @ Feb 27, 2006 -> 04:17 PM) Relative to the salaries of the time, he was compensated just fine. Of course he didn't make 15 mil a year, people weren't being paid that much back at the time. ^^^^^^^

QB Drama in Chitown
Message board info is basically alot like reading tabloids. I love this gem: 3. I can't tell you who I got it from, but don't be surprised if you hear trade winds blowing about Mike Vick. And this person would definitely know. The Falcons are "disgusted" with his progress in throwing and they're not going to waste more money on WRs when they know he cannot hit them. If he's not completing 60% after 4 weeks, he's probably going to be benched and it will be the end of his Atlanta days.

Rex should retire from NFL football.
QUOTE(ZoomSlowik @ Feb 27, 2006 -> 02:38 PM) Thanks for catching that. I was so busy attacking the other stuff that I missed the easiest point. I hope someone did an IP check on this clown.

Rex should retire from NFL football.
QUOTE(crazyman26 @ Feb 27, 2006 -> 02:18 PM) This was from another message board. Clearly I was right all along. Angelo was hinting with his statements he really does not want Rex to become a starting QB for Chicago ever, regardless what Lovie may want. In fact Lovie may not get his contract renewed as a result, wanting Rex to become a starting QB for the first time when nobody else in the organization wants it may cost him his job. Thanks for quoting a reputable source like a message board. If people used message board posts as fact we would all be as crazy and misguided like yourself. Once again, be gone.

KG hits fan with ball
In the old days they would have just left the guy out on the curb. This is what they should have done last night. OMG!!! You got hit gently by a large RUBBER ball, moron. Try getting plugged with a bat or a baseball traveling in excess of 90 MPH.

Rex should retire from NFL football.
QUOTE(crazyman26 @ Feb 27, 2006 -> 11:46 AM) I realized that but what Angelo thinks means more than Lovie. Re-read this part of your post a couple of times. Walk to the bathroom, look in the mirror, laugh, and repeat.

Misleading Statistic
Tyson Chandler leads the league in rebounds per minute for the last 12 games means he is the bulls mvp.

QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Feb 27, 2006 -> 09:07 AM) Would it make you made if I told you I'm 20 and your a few years older than my father? Can I get banned for saying that? im mid-twenties. Anyone order Pizza on-line yet?
QUOTE(Iwritecode @ Feb 27, 2006 -> 11:39 AM) $10 for 2 frozen pizzas? I can get totino's for a buck a pizza... Where I live downtown, the best deal you can get on frozen is 3 for 10.

Anyone order Pizza on-line yet?
I cant bring myself to order from Pizza hut, Dominoes, or papa Johns. There are so many other options in chicago, most of them are superior to those chains. And if you get sick of the same old place, just move down to the next one in line and order from there. There are enough awesome pizza places to try in chicago for a life time. And most of them are top notch.

Jersey Help
QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Feb 27, 2006 -> 11:39 AM) That's why I don't know if I'll ever get a player's jersey. There's no such thing as loyalty or franchise players today. Konerko?

What will the the order of the 3 QBs in Chicago?
QUOTE(crazyman26 @ Feb 25, 2006 -> 05:00 PM) Drew Brees has not been signed by San Diego yet, does anybody think Chicago will try and sign him? Lovie Smith was interviewed at the combine and he said they arent looking at other QB's and that the starting position is Rex's no matter what. So your answer is no. Be gone.

Rex should retire from NFL football.
QUOTE(crazyman26 @ Feb 25, 2006 -> 04:18 PM) I wonder what you will all be saying in September when Orton, or a free agent, or draft pick is the starting QB. Did you happen to catch Lovie Smith's interview from the combine 2 days ago? When he said this is Rex's team, and there is no QB competition. He said it has always been Rex's spot and that will not change. Just wondering if you caught that, because maybe when he said it was Rex's spot, he really meant Orton?

Brian Anderson is one wacky dude
QUOTE(chitownsportsfan @ Feb 26, 2006 -> 01:29 PM) Alright, lets make a fair analogy. If BA had said, "no, I don't garden, thats black folk work"--would you be so quick to write it off as "joking around"? I don't believe so. Why the double standard? Why is it OK to stereotype one historically opressed group but not the other? Like I said, I don't think it's that harmful to women that he said that, however I don't believe it's appropriate to "joke around" when issues of sexism, racism, etc or involved. Oh lay off the soap box for a second. And get in the kitchen and make me some bacon woman!!!!!

Annual mess with Cub fans day at my work II
QUOTE(CaliSoxFanViaSWside @ Feb 24, 2006 -> 09:27 PM) I'm glad to see sumone picked up the ball and ran with it. It's easy to say "give me a f***in break" or "relax" when if you were monitored as your employees are would you be able to "relax" ? What you did was for you're own personal gain. It had nothing to do with company policy or the laws regarding the invasion of privacy. hahahahaha. Overreaction at its finest.

Annual mess with Cub fans day at my work II
wow, some of you people are unreal, this starts as a funny thread and moves into an argument over corporate policy? wow.

Official NBA Discussion Thread
Im not sure I have ever seen a team complain as much as the Detroit pistons. They are constantly whining about getting fouled every time down the floor. If call goes against them, the b****ing never stops, its unreal.
