  1. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Feb 10, 2006 -> 01:43 PM) SO THAT'S WHO WROTE THOSE!!! would you expect anyone else?
  2. Well i hope no one goes off on a wild tangent about things that HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH WUT I AM TALKING ABOUT. in my last thread, i simply wanted to know opinions about MB's contractual situation. somehow it got to timo being better than bonds? and in my opinion, MB is an ace,to us. on PAR with that of peavy, halladay and so on. he is not better, he is not worse, he is what you expect out of your number 1, he wins, and with a medicore offense.i dont expect MB to go out and rack up 10 k's or allow only 2 hits (which he can certainly do at times) i expect him to allow as little runs as possible, hold runners and win. period. MB is an exceptional pitcher, and has a chance at a legacy here in chicago, is he stays. he could end up winning 200+ games and a cy young or 2. im not saying he will, but i think hes that kind of pitcher. i also hope that he will one day be a 20 game winner, who knows, mayb its this year. in closing, i think we need MB to be the best he can, becuz he IS our ace, and our other pitchers look to him for that benchmark they should perform 2. MB is the most well liked pitchers on the south side since McDowell
  3. Im sorry I couldnt see their ad, my view is being blocked by a worldseries championship trophy.
  4. QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Feb 10, 2006 -> 01:39 PM) What Would Crazy Man Do. Is that simple enough? When did we have to start explaining that one? mine should be self-explanatory after that.
  5. I may have to ditch RNW's quotes in my sig and put in some new ones. Alot of material lately.
  6. QUOTE(crazyman26 @ Feb 10, 2006 -> 08:53 AM) . So yes Kyle is definitely the starter next year, and Rex should get out of the NFL as fast as possable, since he is currently in a place there is atleast a mirage he would have been an NFL starting QB at some point without his injuries, if he stays he will only be seen losing the starting QB job to one of the worst starting QBs in the World and his stock will gradualy fall so low even the CFL and NFL Europe wont pay him as much, or want him as a starter as much. I still cant believe this is one sentence.
  7. crazyman, please post again. Tell me why Kyle Orton deserves to start?
  8. QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Feb 10, 2006 -> 12:56 PM) Sooooooo, Grossman and Orton both got to throw to Berrian, Clark, Muhammed, Gage, Jones, and Peterson. The only "weapons" that Grossman didnt get to throw to were Bradley and Benson. So in reality, Grossman had less weapons than Orton did, and IMO ran a much smoother and dangerous offense. ^^^^^^^ you are correct sir
  9. QUOTE(crazyman26 @ Feb 10, 2006 -> 01:22 PM) I actually gauranteed 3 years ago when Grossman first came to Chicago he would never be a starting QB. So far I have been right but people tell me I am lucky to be right. It does not matter the reasons though, facts are facts, until he plays alot more than 2 starts in a single NFL season, he has never been a starting QB in the NFL, and I have been right since I predicted it 3 full years ago. Next year if he does not get injured, the people who discredit my prediction of 3 years ago will have run out of excuses I believe, since he will be on the bench behind Orton and no injury there as an excuse. They will have to concede I was right all along that Grossman would never be a starting QB in the NFL. Umm, what? He has been our starting QB. He is our starting QB, otherwise we would have kept Orton in when Grossman came back, and Kyle would have started the playoff game. what is with the retarded pills going on? This guy smells alot like MB's an Ace
  10. QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Feb 10, 2006 -> 11:57 AM) Well I'm just saying. This crazy dude rips Orton from the beginning. WSJ and Crazyman aren't one in the same. I was joking.
  11. QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Feb 10, 2006 -> 11:53 AM) WSJ likes Orton. Yes, yes he does oh powerful Admin
  12. QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ Feb 9, 2006 -> 01:45 PM) wow. Thats pretty f***ed up. No s***. With a pending suit against People's Energy for overbilling customers, you would think they would try and keep the overbilling to a minimum. Apparently that is not the case.
  13. I dont understand why they feel the need to pass this law, when it will undoubtedly be overturned.
  14. QUOTE(Cuck the Fubs @ Feb 10, 2006 -> 10:38 AM) While I think Grossman should've been played over Orton, I think the problem is that Ron Turner got too greedy and called too many shots downfield. He should've stayed with the game-plan we used all season, more running plays. If Turner had stuck with the gameplan that got them there with Orton, then I think we'd have won, even w/ Steve Smith torturing us. Apparently the offense was covering Steve Smith all game. I dont think scoring points was our problem in that game.
  15. QUOTE(Cuck the Fubs @ Feb 10, 2006 -> 11:35 AM) Give Orton a few more weapons, i.e a speed WR and a tight end and see what he can do. Didnt he have the same weapons that Grossman had, if not more. And you still said that Grossman opens up the passing game and helps the running game more. You have yet to explain why you want the better QB on the bench.
  16. QUOTE(Cuck the Fubs @ Feb 10, 2006 -> 10:38 AM) Having Grossman is nice, as it does open the passing game a little more, and then allow for the running game, but I think Orton should be our starter when the season starts. So you think Grossman is better, but you would rather start Orton?
  17. QUOTE(crazyman26 @ Feb 10, 2006 -> 08:53 AM) So yes Kyle is definitely the starter next year, and Rex should get out of the NFL as fast as possable, since he is currently in a place there is atleast a mirage he would have been an NFL starting QB at some point without his injuries, if he stays he will only be seen losing the starting QB job to one of the worst starting QBs in the World and his stock will gradualy fall so low even the CFL and NFL Europe wont pay him as much, or want him as a starter as much. Its hard to tell, but this is actually one sentence.
  18. QUOTE(Jordan4life_2006 @ Feb 9, 2006 -> 07:17 PM) I really wanted Chris Paul to make it. But I can't really argue with the West reserves. Seeing Chris Paul play, this may be one of the only years he is not on the team. That guy is incredible.
  19. QUOTE(crazyman26 @ Feb 10, 2006 -> 08:25 AM) He has even lost his starting job to the lowly pathetic Kyle Orton. He has no future in the NFL and should head to NFL Europe or the CFL before his stock falls too low they dont want him. Thats great, he sucks because he got injured. Crack kills, people.
  20. QUOTE(Elcaballo45 @ Feb 10, 2006 -> 12:07 AM) Hey dammit, the guy was the only one that hustled his ass of each and every play in 2003, yet, somehow, once he starts off slowly in 04, everyone just starts hating on him. Let's try to keep the hating to a minimum, I'm pretty sure a guy that smiles 24/7 in the dugout is not the clubhouse cancer. Before the world series last year, he probably provided the most exciting walk off homer in Sox history against our favorite north side rivals. I'm sure he wont be back here, and frankly, he's better off him nobody wants him back anyway. Its too bad the only opinion that matters is Ozzie and KW, and they both think hes a cancer and a soft player. Hes never coming back.
  21. I heard the Red Sox were performing an impromptu song and dance number to woo Clemens.
  22. QUOTE(MarkBuehrle_TheAce @ Feb 9, 2006 -> 10:18 PM) all owens has to do is catch the ball, and he can clearly do that. owens just seems to fit the mold of what ozzie likes more than anderson. i like anderson, and beleive he will be a future star, but owens has a LEGIT shot at the job i think KW drafted Anderson, he loves Anderson, he traded Jeremy Reed, Chris Young and Aaron Rowand because of his faith in Anderson. Owens has ONe year of experience, and he is not a CF'er. He will replace PODS when his contract is up. Whats your next thread going to be? IM excited
  23. QUOTE(Rex Hudler @ Feb 9, 2006 -> 07:15 PM) The cool thing about women in the South is they LOVE football. Super Bowl Sunday includes women. Hell, every Saturday from late August to January, includes women. Fan-tastic. I love southern women's accents too.
  24. QUOTE(Tannerfan @ Feb 9, 2006 -> 07:30 PM) A 70mph change like Gagne's is exactly what I'd love to see. It seems the hitters with the game on the line in the 9th would be so off balance with a pitch like that after a 100mph fastball. Bobby would own the league. He has a change. Unfortunatley his change is just about what a fastball would be from some pitchers so it is easy for guys to be late on a swing and hit it. He is fine with what he has.
