  1. Now they are flipping for calls. This may be an early night for me
  2. Three hacks on breakaways no calls. Gonna be a rough night if we can't get those.
  3. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Dec 2, 2014 -> 08:33 PM) They were ranked 5th in the preseason AP poll and had won 16 straight regular season conference games. I'm not saying I agree with the media, but that's what they are thinking. Lol, by my count, Ohio State has 8. And you are looking at everything before Braxton was hurt. They moved MSU to the favorite. Recruiting and actual coaching isn't what the award is about, it's "surprise of the year". Brady Hoke won one.
  4. Man I hope we keep this game close. We appear to be very overmatched on paper at this point.
  5. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Dec 2, 2014 -> 07:30 PM) Baylor plays KState and TCU plays Iowa State. I wonder how much the final season game TCU plays will hurt them (this of course is making the assumption that both of those teams win). You also have to look at someone like OSU and whether they could leapfrog TCU with a big win. If OSU wins convincingly over Wisconsin they jump TCU into the top four without a doubt. Without Barrett the odds are very slim.
  6. They need to stop interviewing Long, he makes zero sense. One of his qualifiers was TCU has five wins over .500 or better teams. Wtf? Since when is that good?
  7. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Dec 2, 2014 -> 07:19 PM) Two teams I hate and two teams that are extremely fun to watch. Alabama would bone stomp FSU and Oregon-TCU would be beyond fun. I think Oregon would smoke TCU going away setting up the title game that makes the most sense.
  8. QUOTE (zenryan @ Dec 2, 2014 -> 07:00 PM) Alabama vs FSU and Oregon vs TCU might be the most compelling matchups possible for fans not of any of the contending teams. It looks like the committee agrees with you. I think FSU gets curb stomped by whoever they play.
  9. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Dec 2, 2014 -> 06:35 PM) When you have way more talent than any other team in the conference, it's kind of hard to "exceed' expectations, and that's what the media tends to look for with the coach voting. They got exactly one out off 25 first places votes before the season started. So they overachieved.
  10. Streak stays alive. OSU coaches have only won COY three times. 24-0 in conference play, lose a heisman trophy favorite, mold a freshman to break the conferences TD record. Doesn't win an award.
  11. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Dec 2, 2014 -> 04:25 PM) College sports at their best. Multi millionaires flying around the country in private planes to steal employees, but God forbid a kid signs an autograph or if he wants to transfer he has to sit out a year Coaches recruit kids based on promises then bail for more money.
  12. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Dec 2, 2014 -> 04:17 PM) Edit: I'm not saying it doesn't happen. it obviously does. But why do kids let it happen? Why are they so attached to the internet and those mediums that bullies use? Get a different Twitter account, get a new email address. Block people. Ignore people. It literally takes effort to be a victim of a bully on the internet. It takes an action on the victim's part - to engage with the person on the internet. It's not the same as being confronted face to face with it. Thats like telling a kid to get a whole new set of friends, they arent developed enough at that age to be able to do that sort of thing. Its the same reason they get so hung up on thing we see as petty as adults.
  13. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Dec 2, 2014 -> 04:21 PM) BRAD STEVENS IS COMING TO ILLINOIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Even better are those fake "insiders" that make up s*** like that. Or the guy who predicts a 51% chance X coach is coming.
  14. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Dec 2, 2014 -> 04:15 PM) They can't hit ignore? Block the email address? Close their facebook? I don't buy it. Then you are off the grid and basically an exile in their social world, could be even worse. Their wolds arent like ours, they literally think their small circles are IT.
  15. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Dec 2, 2014 -> 04:18 PM) You know it's college coach hiring season when Twitter is abuzz following private planes across the country. Did you see Florida's plane going to Colorado?
  16. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Dec 2, 2014 -> 04:17 PM) Didn't Miles bang Gary Moehller's wife or something and is not welcome back to Michigan? Something weird like that. Most of the rumors I've seen have been around Schiano and Adazzio today, but I am sure that will change with the wind. Miles WAS hired when RROD was brought on and someone vetoed it. Michigan is really run by factions of almost political parties, its not like the typical football factory that just wants someone who wins. They all have opinions etc and the "old guard" shut Miles down.
  17. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Dec 2, 2014 -> 03:32 PM) Eh, how's that different than actual bullying in school? We all dealt with it at some point. That's part of being a kid. Obviously it can go to far, and people should be protected/punished for it, but if Facebook is your life, you need to get a f'n life. Kids put too much stock on their internet/social media accounts. I'm in favor of breaking that trend, not embarrassing it and nurturing it even more. Kids worlds are so small, and when something is permanently out on the internet its brutal, even driving them to depression and suicide. Bullying could have been limited to one small school in a community and you could have changed schools even to help it out, now there is no escape.
  18. QUOTE (bmags @ Dec 2, 2014 -> 03:14 PM) Doesn't this answer your own question? WHich question is that? I already saw I dont think Nebraska is top tier, but they think they are.
  19. Yosemite is brutal, the windowserver process just eats CPU's when it gets stuck at full throttle, the updates for this version will be many.
