  1. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jan 5, 2010 -> 11:15 AM) Yup. That managed to get really out of hand really quickly. SRO's are going for 50+ for this sunday.
  2. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jan 5, 2010 -> 10:44 AM) And Lovie Smith is officially put on notice for his job. Rod better not be in line for the head coach job.
  3. QUOTE (Heads22 @ Jan 5, 2010 -> 02:14 AM) Didn't even have to be your team sometimes. I donned both a Steelers and a Florida Gators jacket. I had a Bulls one and a pullover IU one that I got right after meeting the soccer coach there and wanting to attend. I think I still have it at my parents house.
  4. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jan 5, 2010 -> 10:09 AM) Um, yeah. Whatever happened in the football game, I think TCU still came out as the winner last night. Heres a Boise State cheering section: The BSU fans in general looked quite hillbillyish. I enjoyed the constant cutovers to the TCU dance team section, fantastic. I have to put them at or a tick below the Oregon cheerleaders.
  5. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jan 3, 2010 -> 07:37 PM) Who would be the SG then, Salmons or Butler? Hopefully they could just pack Salmons things for him and send him on a long vacation so he can be lazy off the court as well.
  6. QUOTE (danman31 @ Jan 5, 2010 -> 01:34 AM) Both should be. TCU has a great defense, but Dalton was just terrible tonight. The thing that separates TCU and Boise from other 'high scoring' teams is that they have real defenses. Heck, TCU was known as a defensive team before they ran through the MWC. Florida would maul TCU. Florida has a better defense than BSU and TCU could barely move the ball on them whatsoever. Clearly their offensive production was a product of who they played during the season. They faced really 3 teams with a good defense and scored well below their avg PPG. Florida's offense is better than BSU as well. This was a good and even matchup, but I still think there is quite a bit of a talent gap between these schools and a Fla, Texas and Bama. Take a look at what a team like Cincy did against Fla. They couldnt score until Fla put the second team in. This was a team in a major BCS conference putting up 40 points a game. Granted they arent even close to what TCU or Boise are defensively, so Fla may only put up 24 or so points on them instead of the 70 they couldve hung on Cincy.
  7. TCU has some nice looking cheerleaders. They are right up there in the cheerleader bowl.
  8. People would call you, leave a message and actually wait for you to call them back without getting angry? Now its "where were you? I texted you, then fb'ed you and you didnt respond for 20 min!!!!"
  9. According to rivals its down to USC and OSU for Henderson.
  10. QUOTE (JuiceCruz16 @ Jan 4, 2010 -> 02:10 PM) I got some last second free tickets to drive down and catch the Purdue/West Virginia game Saturday. Purdue really throttled W. Virginia defensivly, and Mackey arena was rockin'! I was impressed with the atmosphere. Tuesday with Minnesota in town should be a stern test for the Golden Gophers in Mackey. I will be back down there for the Ohio State game next Tuesday to cheer on E'twaun and the rest of the Boilers. Purdue will beat the buckeyes by at least 20, they are terrible without Turner.
  11. Unloading Steeger would be a grave mistake. Look at how much he has developed in such a short time.
  12. There are 3 players that have stood out to me these last few Bears games that probably should show why management is completely retarded since they werent added until late in the season. Bell, Shaw and Aromashodu. Tim Shaw is everywhere, why hasnt this guy stuck somewhere?
  13. QUOTE (knightni @ Jan 2, 2010 -> 07:26 AM) He reminds me of Donovan McNabb before he learned how to pocket pass more successfully. I think the ligament tear actually helped him because it required him to actually look for receiver options because he knew that he couldn't run as much as he could before the tear. Gotta remember he's a true sophomore as well with a young receiving core and O-line.
  14. Cincy doesnt play any defense and finally faced a defense. Not a surprise.
  15. QUOTE (T R U @ Jan 1, 2010 -> 06:36 PM) man Pryor is a terrible quarterback He only outgained the entire Oregon team on one leg without 2 of his top receivers. Good win. I'm glad all that was talked about all week was how fast and great Oregon's offense was, it took alot of pressure off Pryor and the Bucks offense.
  16. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jan 1, 2010 -> 04:24 PM) open containers of alcohol, bags of pot, and 2 guns with altered serial numbers. Not good, not good at all. One would think that if you were going to drive around with your car loaded like that, you would try not to speed. Sounds like a good new years party.
  17. QUOTE (Heads22 @ Jan 1, 2010 -> 04:35 PM) Tempe was covered in cardinal and gold last night. USC fans?
  18. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jan 1, 2010 -> 03:32 PM) http://www.usatoday.com/sports/olympics/va...-team-usa_N.htm That roster is not impressive IMO.

  20. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jan 1, 2010 -> 02:11 PM) With his kicker out, I don't know that he had a choice but to try to win it. It was a great game though. Disagree since it was a chip shot, NW should have won anyway. And congrats on having the worst field of all the bowl games Capital One bowl committee. It would be better if they just played in a swamp.
