Apple is dominant. There I said it. As a dedicated PC user for many years, I am now typing this post from easily the best computer I've ever had, an iMac. Apple is just awesome.

QUOTE (Flash Tizzle @ Oct 15, 2009 -> 04:53 PM) It's strange that people wouldn't be willing to buy front plates. Is it just that you don't want people reading it as you drive? For the inconvenience it will cause with the police, I would think having a plate on the front of your car wouldn't be a big deal. I have a plate, its just not installed i.e: DRILLED into the front bumper of my car. If there was a plate there, or it was an SUV I would probably put it on, but there is no way I am going to drill holes in the bumper of my car because I MAY get a parking ticket once a year.

QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Oct 20, 2009 -> 12:09 PM) That is pretty bad. Lopez is a solid player and Lowe is nice too, but you dont' give up an above average young starter for a couple solid pieces. Danks is 25 years old. They would have to give us all of their top prospects for us to even consider this. A low OBP 2B and a bullpen arm is just stupid.

QUOTE (Felix @ Oct 20, 2009 -> 05:19 PM) I can't tell if you're joking or not, but just because someone plays the game doesn't mean they know it better. Hell, half the time it blinds them from reality because they're too full of their own opinion to actually think about something logically. Congrats to Beckham though. He's probably not the most deserving candidate, but I'll be damned if he isn't the most awesome. I disagree. Players who have played the game at the highest level have a much better grasp on who plays the game well than a bunch of people staring at the TV or looking down from a press box. Until you have actually played at the highest level, you will never know as much about the actual game IMO.

White Sox talk new deal with Scott Podsednik's agent
RockRaines replied to kitekrazy's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Listen, PODS is a player and a businessman, but he's also a nice country boy who knows where he feels comfortable. I expect him to get a contract done for a reasonable amount to stay in Chicago. -
QUOTE (GreatScott82 @ Oct 19, 2009 -> 05:45 PM) Abreu rejected the Angels 2 year 16 million extension. Would you guys offer 3 years for 24 million? f*** no.

QUOTE (Swingandalongonetoleft @ Oct 19, 2009 -> 05:18 PM) I was actually a fan of Bradley the ballplayer from his days on the west coast and even up to Texas. I thought his reputation as a troublemaker was more word of mouth than anything. I think if the media and fans in chicago had never heard of him before this year things may have been better. Sadly for Milton, MLB is popular and your reputation follows you, even if you play in Alaska. I can *maybe* see Bradley working out on the other side of town, but more importantly I could also imagine him being interviewed and written about by the same reporters in the same papers as this past year. Dude will either make good with his Cubs people, or never play for a team in Chicago again. It wouldnt be the only time Cubs fans and media have made a player out to be something that they arent, or have taken it to the extreme though.

When it comes down to it, you are going to end up with the item or the money for the item, and the buyer will either end up with money and the item or just the money.

They prob wont read my email, but its worth a try. I just dont understand how so many people can see their errors and yet they make no changes. -

Have you ever wanted to send an article to a head coach hoping that he finally figures out what his problem is? Well if anyone has Tressel's email address: http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/blog...rn=ncaaf,189322 -
And yet, AJP is much more hated throughout baseball.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Oct 19, 2009 -> 10:59 AM) My thought is why can't we be hot after an actual offensive lineman? In the grand scheme of things, we really only have one hole on the OL. The only issue is that some of the guys are great in pass protection (Pace, Williams) and others are only good for the run (Kreutz, Garza). We need a GOOD guard next to Pace to get the running game going on the left side. -

QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Oct 18, 2009 -> 11:34 PM) Pace literally fell over on 4th and -1, on a play that very easily would have been converted. That'a CRITICAL error. I will say that he played well the rest of the game, but you can't write off the enormity of his mistake. Pace was the best OL all game. He made a critical error on that play, yes, but his play the rest of the game helped keep the Bears in it anyway. -

Typical ebay scam. They sometimes search for items that appear to not be shipped correctly. Sorry dude.

How fitting for the game to end on a flag. The called back fumble and the phantom hold loom large as Pryor decided to get his head out of his ass in the last 7 min. Terrible embarrassing loss for you Tressel. Maybe you'll finally give up play calling. -

QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Oct 17, 2009 -> 01:55 PM) Because I watch them play. The QBs in this conference suck. I should make clear that I meant that no one will be worth a damn in the NFL but I'm sure a couple of guys will stick in the league as 2nd or 3rd string QBs considering how awful 3rd string QBs in the NFL can be. Do you realize how ridiculous of a statement that is? How many NFL starting QB's did you accurately predict would be starters when they were underclassmen? I am sure you took a look at Jay Cutler and said, wow THAT guy is going to be worth a damn, that Joe Flacco is THE man. Come on, its extremely hard to predict NFL success at the QB position, especially based on college performance. -

QUOTE (danman31 @ Oct 17, 2009 -> 01:44 PM) What do you think about the FG there? I was thinking a for sure go for it situation. Terrible, just like the play calling in the red zone. 5 TO's and 2 scores called back are going to kill you every time, mix in the terrible play calling, the horrendous play by the QB and WR positions and I would take OSU out of the top 20.
