For all the PM'ers: I am testing the copying function of the DVD's this weekend, if it all comes out as planned then we can start to figure out how I can help you all out with copies.

QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Nov 3, 2009 -> 11:37 PM) Just did my 1st P90X workout today. I could only make it through 29 minutes of the Plyometrics before my legs turned to jelly. Walking will be interesting tomorrow. This is an absolutely intense program. Tomorrow will be cardio and Ab Ripper X. Keep at it. I would recommend taking a 10 min break in the middle and then using half effort through the rest so you can finish.

I dont want to glaze over the fact that this guy had the balls to ask some really tough questions, nice article.

QUOTE (Brian @ Oct 31, 2009 -> 02:43 PM) 1. Kelly Anne was hot on her Real World season before she got the implants. She didn't need them. She's got the ass of a goddess. 2. It's NBC. There is a reason that network is going in the crapper. The implants are fine on her though, I like em, and that ass is one of the best out there, perfection.

QUOTE (Brian @ Oct 30, 2009 -> 02:47 PM) I was on Wes' side. I can not stand JOhnny and Kenny. They never have the guts to go into the elimination competitions and talk crap. Evan bounces around to anyone that will make him look good. He annoys me because he thinks he is funny but he is a loser. +1 over here. Those guys werent even on a real work or road rules show, they are huge douches.

QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Nov 1, 2009 -> 11:53 AM) The Yankees proved this year that you can build a new stadium, even if the other is cherished historically, and still draw fans. If you are the Cubs, why don't you build a new stadium, make it look exactly like Wrigley Field, and then actually be playing in a state of the art stadium, rather than in a piece of s***? Because they cant tear down a landmark. My best guess: Wrigley Field Lincolnshire is only 10 years away.

QUOTE (elrockinMT @ Nov 1, 2009 -> 10:17 AM) From Phil Rogers Article Today: The Braves are expected to shop Javier Vazquez after signing Tim Hudson to a three-year contract extension What can't this guy stick? Because he's not very good. He has no place on the Sox, he belongs in the NL on a non-contending team.

QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Oct 30, 2009 -> 11:43 AM) Evan, I've been rethinking my SEC debate and I'm even less enamored with them. Everyone talks about the lack of skill in the Big Ten at the QB position, but I'll point out the exact same in the SEC. Ryan Mallet is the best QB in that conference. Tim Tebow is having a mediocre season, he's tough, ballsy, etc, but without Percy Harvin and Louis Murphy he hasn't been near as good. Bottom line, I stick to my guns that the Pac 10 is the best conference in the land. I also think oregon is the best team in the country right now. Its funny how long this debate has raged on. I am reading 1968, about OSU football and Woody Hayes best recruiting class and there are numerous statements about how the SEC couldn't compete with the size of the Big Ten back then. And BTW, if Mallet stayed at UM and DickRod never came in, he would easily be the best QB in the Big Ten. -
QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Oct 30, 2009 -> 12:21 PM) Every man has there things that will get them ball-busted. I watch every episode of Gossip Girl. XOXO Chisoxfn's Man Card Whatever, Gossip Girl is full of a bunch of hot tail.

QUOTE (Tony82087 @ Oct 30, 2009 -> 12:14 PM) Actually I agree hockey is a niche sport. It just is, and a lot of it has to do with the way it has marketed over the last 10 years. People don't see it on SportsCenter everynight, so they don't think it matters. That sounds overly simplistic, but that has a lot to do with it. Also Jas, do you really think you are able to 100% accurately talk about what the "want" is in Chicago, living in Cali? It is just based on what it takes to play hockey and the demographic that is exposed to hockey. Its kind of like Golf, Hockey is a way of life for only a small percentage of the country and basketball is something that EVERYONE is exposed to. Its hard to debate on here since this board is made up of a ton of die hard sports fans who appreciate hockey, but the fact is, basketball, especially in Chicago, is a more well liked and understood sport. I bet if we polled 10,000 sports fans in chicago, 90 percent would know what traveling is in basketball, but only a smaller percentage could explain icing.

QUOTE (kjshoe04 @ Oct 30, 2009 -> 10:38 AM) Basketball will always be more popular than hockey in this city. What the blackhawks are doing is nice, but the Bulls are by far the more popular team. Also hockey fans tend to be more affluent so attendance may not be the greatest factor. Look at the tv ratings. Chicago is a basketball town, much more basketball played by youths at a higher level. There is also less appeal across racial and economic factions. The hawks are extremely popular and fans will pack the stadium, but the Bulls will be watched by more people.

QUOTE (ChWRoCk2 @ Oct 30, 2009 -> 08:47 AM) I'll never give an apology to Thomas regardless if he has a good season or not. Imo he should be coming off the bench and not starting. He can block but really that is about it. Clearly if he has a good season then you are wrong. So you can apologize at that point or not, it doesnt change the fact you would be wrong. -
QUOTE (dasox24 @ Oct 29, 2009 -> 11:14 PM) Right there with ya. I'll take that any time though over dressing up for Halloween. I was going to be Tony Perkis from Heavyweights, though, if I had plans for Saturday night. As it is, I'm just going to go out and get drunk as s*** when our game ends around 11:30. Before I got the tickets I was planning on dressing up as blacked out guy on my couch. Halloween in Chicago has turned into such a terrible amateur night. Its a appetizer for awful new years.

QUOTE (ChWRoCk2 @ Oct 29, 2009 -> 07:30 PM) Only needed to see 1 quarter of Tyrus Thomas to remind me of why he is terrible and should not come back. He's dropping shots and driving to the hoop now, 1 quarter is not enough time to judge someone. And I think i will have to offer a formal apology to Noah pretty soon, he picked up right where he left off last season. -
chest and back shredded me today, I was doing girl pushups the entire second half.

QUOTE (CanOfCorn @ Oct 29, 2009 -> 02:22 PM) I always liked the old MSU helmets...with the "S" on one side only. Then again, my second favorite helmet (and team) in the NFL is the Steelers, so there you go. And two choices for next head coach at Illinois: Randy Edsall or Gary Patterson. (my personal choices) Chase and Pay Brian Kelly. -
Buckeye fan, I'll be at the game. After that: Drunk and blacked out Buckeye fan.

I'd love to have Polanco, it just wont happen. That guy is a hitting machine and is the prototypical #2 hitter. -

QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Oct 29, 2009 -> 11:49 AM) Notre Dame has to win this one easy. Hard to argue with the classic. Maybe Penn State could make a contest of it. Those are all damn good. The classics are the best. CBUS bound in 24 hrs, WOOT! -
Why is everyone on TV acting like its a huge surprise that Cliff Lee is good? He won a f***ing Cy Young, of course he's good.

QUOTE (docsox24 @ Oct 28, 2009 -> 05:07 PM) i was at the Illini Arizona game where we came back from 15 down to steal that game. It was the loudest place I have ever been in and at the time I thought it was the greatest sports moment I attended. Then five months later Paulie hit the grandslam and somehow that was 20 times better. I will never forget it and miss it. I have friends who were at the Super Bowl and say that Hester's TD on the opening kickoff was better but no way can they convince me of that. I was at the Bulls game watching the AZ v Ill. It could have been a hawks game too, I just remember watching it from my seat on a TV in a luxury box.

QUOTE (dasox24 @ Oct 28, 2009 -> 01:39 PM) So apparently Lil Wayne has a new song that mentions Lane Kiffin. The lyrics goes "talk s*** like Lane Kiffin..." around the 1:14 mark. Pretty awesome. You know young high school kids will eat that up. So when the Vols and Buckeyes play each other in a few years, which head coach is still there, Kiffin or Tressel?
