I was there as well. Sitting Jumping up and down in the stands watching a world series winner in Chicago was one of the most memorable moments of my life.

I love that video. That was probably the coolest moment of my White Sox fandom. What a moment!

This is another clip. Pretty good.

"No way"

That's Podsednik. I still can't believe that happened.

Easily my all-time favorite baseball moment

Tears in my eyes. Most exciting baseball moment ever. Lost my voice within 15 seconds after he hit that. Loudest scream I've ever made.

Same night.

The wife and I were about 10 rows away from where Paulie's ball landed. Best. Game. Ever.

Nothing comes close.

Thanks for posting the video.

Goosebumps still. Best thing is remembering back to that time and recalling that Paulie's wife had just had their baby, and Paulie put it all in perspective by asking how many people in the world can say that hitting a grand slam in the World Series was the second best thing that happened to him that week.

That entire month was something to behold. That's why I'll never hold it against anyone that probably overrates or holds on a wee bit too tightly to any member of that team. Will probably never see anything like that again (sorry to say).

as awesome as the WS moments are. I always get giddy watching El Duque pump his chest, point up to the sky, run to the mound and deal. Sick

I was on the other side of the park that night. Definitely still get goosebumps. Amazingness.

I sure as heck hope we don't.

That would mean waiting 88 years between championships.

I remember watching playoff teams, and seeing them get a base hit, and steal, and then hit the runner home. And I would think, my god, this is why the white sox will never win in the playoffs. They can't execute like these teams.

(not small ball)

But then we get into the playoffs and executed so much, so beautifully. Honest to God thinking about it makes me heavy, sports are so wonderful. We executed a flippin suicide squeeze in the playoffs to seal a victory (well, cap it off.)

But my god my anxiety was so high in the playoffs and we went 11-1 ahahaha. I remember skipping all my classes after the angels loss. And I had a german test at nine am after we won the world series, going in very drunk and hadn't slept all night. I assure you, that story is special because I never did stuff like that. (got an A)

I still get the chills from watching that video, seeing it in person though is something that i will never forget. Those were two memorable homeruns.

memories

section 150 row 17. Awesome

I was so lucky to be able to work for the team that year, never ever ever will forget it.

Yeah.

That DVD's going in right now.

Last year I popped in the World Series DVD instead of watching a WS game. Will probably do that again. Maybe invite a few friends and have a Lou's shipped in. Phuck the Fillies and Yankmees
