  2. QUOTE (Texsox @ Apr 13, 2008 -> 06:05 PM) Is it any slower? I usually dislike unitaskers in the kithcen, but with my son coming back from college and on his own for most of the summer while I'm at the island, I may pick one up. the pizzazz will take prolly 12-15 min for a normal pizza, maybe 20 for a thick one like a digornio...it heats up faster than an oven so i think overall the time is less... oh and there is no better way to reheat delivery or restaurant pizza than on a pizzaz
  3. QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Apr 13, 2008 -> 09:36 PM) I will submit, though, that the best drunken food ever...Totino's Pizza Rolls. I dare you to say otherwise. ive always loved pizza rolls....and to make them that much worse for you...try dipping them in ranch dressing...i was skeptical at first, but its fantastic
  4. QUOTE (Texsox @ Apr 13, 2008 -> 04:12 PM) Is the Pizzazz better than an oven or toaster oven?? honestly...not really, its just so much more convient to use than an oven because it gets hot right away and you can see when things are done...like i said before though, i used to put things like sandwiches on it to melt cheese and toast hte bread, something i would have never done in an oven, but clearly could do in an oven...its just nice on the pizzazz cuz its so convenient its also bigger than a toaster oven too
  5. charlotte won 6-5...Fields was 2-4, but with another 2 Ks...still hitting .353 so far owens was 0-4...stay in charlotte jerry wasserman with save number 5 already
  6. picked up this nugget at the ever entertaining motowntigers.com Red Wings scored 43 goals in their first twelve games of the season. Tigers have scored 33 runs in their first twelve.
  7. the tigers have been shut out 4 times in 12 games this year....they were shutout 3 times all of last year javy thornton and masset threw something like 25 straight strikes between the 6th and 9th as well i think
  8. QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ Apr 13, 2008 -> 03:40 PM) What he say? not sure it was a jab at all....he said "although, I am a republican, we have the greatest mayor in america" or something to that effect
  9. QUOTE (daa84 @ Apr 13, 2008 -> 03:32 PM) we have thrown 24 straight strikes it had been since the 5th ! since we threw a ball
  10. QUOTE (Capn12 @ Apr 13, 2008 -> 03:12 PM) Damn, now I feel bad that we even lost one game to this wretched mess of a Detroit team haha aqulino lopez is their best pitcher player right now
  11. QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Apr 13, 2008 -> 02:56 PM) :notworthy If Crede stays healthy, Fields better find a new position. 2b lol... no seriously though, fields needs to be ready...because someone whether its crede, konerko, thome, swisher, quentin...will go on the DL probably at some point, and josh i think (especially if he can play LF which i doubt they will though) is going to get some important ABs
  12. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Apr 13, 2008 -> 02:55 PM) The Tigers can't possibly be this bad. We have to build up a nice lead on them while they're down. I expect them to make a run at some point. its gonna be tough for them to make a sustained and consistent run where they win like 12 out of 15 (which right now would only put them 1 over .500) with their pitching staff and that bullpen
  13. keep obliterating this pitching staff....send them up against minny and cleveland even more depleted
  14. definition of a guy sitting on a fastball right there and not missing it
  15. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Apr 13, 2008 -> 02:48 PM) Yes it is. Their starters are weak outside of Verlander, their offense relies on a lot of aging guys, and their defense was supposed to be terrible in the first place. yep...and the bullpen is horrendous...its actually really similar to our team last year
  16. QUOTE (Maverick0984 @ Apr 13, 2008 -> 02:39 PM) Looked like a football player blocking...why didn't he just step backward? lol with the 14th pick in the 2008 NFL draft, the chicago bears select doug eddins Left Tackle, out of the major league baseball umpiring association
  17. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Apr 13, 2008 -> 02:37 PM) Good lookin' swing there by Cabrera. hes really starting to come around...the first week he struggled but this last week, hes been good...and gotten on base quite a bit for him too...obp coming into today was .341 LOL
  18. QUOTE (daa84 @ Apr 13, 2008 -> 02:26 PM) 84 pitches through 3.1 innings for rogers...and hes got swisher at the plate....i love how well we have run up pitch counts this year...the additions of swisher cabrera and quentin have alot to do with that too i open my mouth and he gets 2 outs in 2 pitches
  19. 84 pitches through 3.1 innings for rogers...and hes got swisher at the plate....i love how well we have run up pitch counts this year...the additions of swisher cabrera and quentin have alot to do with that too
  20. boy oh boy this tigers bullpen is struggling, depleted and rogers is already at 61 pitches
  21. QUOTE (iamshack @ Apr 13, 2008 -> 01:49 PM) Fathom, Do you at all seem to think that Quentin tries to hit too many homers? It just doesn't seem like he ever hits any line drives...all pop ups and ground balls. Not that he doesn't hit the ball hard, but just doesn't seem to hit too many liners...his swing seems a bit loopy to me. i know you asked fathom his opinion, but ill give mine as well i think quentins a smart hitter...he does swing hard when he has a count or when he gets "his" pitch to hit...but weve seen him shorten up a few times with 2 strikes and hit liners back up the middle...i for one have no problem with his approach, and i think he will be successful with it btw javy looks real good
  22. QUOTE (shipps @ Apr 13, 2008 -> 01:42 PM) Tiger has never come back on the last day to win,it aint gonna happen although I wish it will. yeah especially considering he is 5 back
