How dare you! You sir must be a very sick and depressed individual. You outta be banned

miiiiggggggyyyyyy

Damn, Rowand.....the pitch is RIGHT THERE and he pulls the trigger too quickly. Stop mashing and give me a single.
-
No kidding. Carlos had a cookie, but hitting singles and getting on base ain't how Caballo rolls. Paulie and Crede on the other hand just got it done.
-
Ditto.

Again....Joe's problem at 3B is that he takes to long to set feet and load up on the throw. Watch Rolen throw sometime -- gets you out from his knees, let alone off-balance. Should have been a DP, but who cares 5-2, 6-2....same difference.

Bulls***. You were wrong. I corrected you. You came back with an insipid "whatever" and a "threat". Put up or shut up. Wrong is obviously bad and I told you as much during his "successful" start in NY. Of course rockets would start falling and meatballs would start getting hammered. After 50 years following baseball, you should know that better than anyone. Now stop referencing my moniker when addressing your post to Flash Tizzle and maybe next time I won't point out how stupid IMO your post was. With all due respect and consideration.

Watch out, kid, ya might get baaaannned. Can't say "stfu" anymore..

I thought we have established a long time ago that what a good manager would do. Uribe stays in the line-up, Jose joins him if he's healthy enough. End of story.
-
No, go ahead, air it out big boy. I asked you to knock that 2002 crap long time ago -- 5.25 ERA is NOT a "hellava season" by ANY standards, in ANY era. Furthermore, 2002 team laid down and died when the season was on the line and our DannyBoy had an ERA of 6.00 in the first half when Sox still had a prayer at catching Minnesota. The way you only use stats that suit your POV (Calyton "outhitting" Jose in 2002, etc) is, frankly, ridiculous. Since you aren't stupid, I can only assume you're doing it intentionally. BTW.... my boy "Jose" Uribe (god love Hawk Harrelson) just brough the team back from the dead. The saddest part is if the Sox win today, we will all forget how brutal Danny Wright was once again -- 6 hits, 2 homers, a walk and 2 line-outs in just 3 innings.

Frank doesn't have the batspeed to hit good pitches while with 2-strikes. That pitch by Lilly on 2-2 count -- if it's on 2-0/2-1, it's out of here.

Please stop lying.

You're kidding, right? WGN is not gonna dedicate 6 consecutive hours to White Sox. Hell, starting from mid-May, thre will be a stretch where you won't see 6 hours of Sox baseball in 2 weeks.
-
O-e-O-Sheen-go I love this guy.
-
Yes, because costing a game and almost costing another two is < a bunt. Oh and....
-
Sat. GoG: Joe Crede Nothing spectacular, just making his plays, catching hard line-outs, starting a DP. Uribe had a chance, but he and Timo screwed up the relay throw on Cash so it put Joe ova the top.
-
Ok, Ross, redeem yourself. 1/2nd/no outs.
-
First chokes in the 9th after getting a 2-0 count. Then chokes in the 9th in another game after getting a 3-0 count. Now chokes against Terry friggin' Adams when all he needed is a medium-depth FO :puke

I could care less what or who he grew up as. All I know is that this still stands. Without Bernstein, the Score is utterly worthless.

if you think Cubbies are gonna remain lovable LOSERS, you're naive. They have a new sheriff in town in Hendry and a nice 95 Mill payroll to get it done. With Prior, they're going places. Without him, they'll just get Washburn or some such and will reload in 2005. Your father's Cubs are dead. These guys are for real, unfortunately. The point being....I could cares less WHO is in the park as long as it allows the Sox to have the 3rd highest payroll in AL. In fact, I would actually enjoy having Sox Park half-filled with Kubbie bandwagoners because that would allow me to make fun of them right there and then AND it would be hilarious cuz their dollars would be helping the Sox win the 'Series. Good times.

I hope he goes Edgar on us and becomes a 1st ballot HOF'er with a couple of rings on his finger -- as a member of the White Sox, of course.

**The Official let's see what Feliz Diaz can do**
BrandoFan replied to maggsmaggs's topic in Pale Hose Talk
If he can't produce 6/3er today, then the Wright Era should be over. You can't have 6.00+ ERA pitchers in the rotation, choking against Devil Rays in friggin' April. Diaz, Rauch....I do not care. Adkins down, Wright - BP. Speaking of Adkins, he made 1 bad pitch to Judy Gerut, so his ML stint shouldn't be viewed as an abject failure. In fact, as he hones that third pitch in AAA and remembers how silly he made Lawton and Viaquel look, I hope he realizes he belongs in the bigs. -
Amen. Since mid-2000, Sox have been one of the better mistake hitting teams in the majors, but against good breaking ball pitchers? Not so much. Hawk's "don't tell me what, tell me WHEN" is exactly right -- I could care less about padding stats against some scub reliever in a blow out. You ain't gonna win in the PLAYOFFS by hitting back-to-back-to-back homers to LF on 1-2 counts, that's for sure. That's one of the reasons why I am always pushing for a Shilling-type starter at the ASB -- I am simply not counting on the Sox to score 6 runs a game in the postseason -- not against Pedro, Shill, Vasquez, Brown, two of which they're gonna see in ALDS if the Sox get there.
