  1. That's the way I read it. It when the at bat ends on the next pitch so you could add sac fly/bunt and hit by pitch as well.
  2. Typically, they wait about a week before any strenuous activity after the injection. The report was dated May 6th. So it will probably be Thursday or Friday before they even test it with hitting.
  3. Don't put it on him. I'm just messing with you. Its me being the pain in the rear end not him.
  4. If you want to get really picky, you could interpret it as the "next month" from May 5th so it would be the games during the month of June. June is the next month after May. ?
  5. He commented over the next month on 5/6. To me it begins when he said it . He didn't say in the Month of May, he didn't say during the typical increments that most people measure baseball. When my friends and I make bets its accuracy that matters. You can do whatever you want.
  6. Its not my defined stretch if games. Its what he said. If you are going to call him on it be accurate.
  7. He said the next month and posted it on 5/6 so the games in May prior to that don't count. Count 5/6-6/6.
  8. Paraphrasing Lao Tzu. Sounds like Hahn though.
  9. They've always done it. TLR has just been one who does it much more than most. It's not new for him.
  10. Maybe Velasquez is the most important pick up of the year. RH doing a deep dive on the stats.
  11. I said they don't necessarily do it. Not that they never do it. But they always let the players know well in advance for planned days off.
  12. Those who live in the past suffer depression . Those who live in the future suffer anxiety Only those who live in the present can truly be happy.
  13. They don't necessarily make lineups days in advance but they do inform players on planned days off.
  14. Mods will do that if they think it warrants it own thread.
  15. Can't vouch for that as I don't remember it but 2 wrongs don't make a right. Everyone should be disciplined for flipping off the fans.
  16. I don't think so. You can't have ayers flipping off the fans and not have some kind of discipline.
  17. Over 162 it happens. Hence the minimal difference managers make in the MLB.
  18. You did miss amazing at bats. It was truly must see.
  19. Like he did a couple of years ago under Cooper?
  20. Plus he is a RH 1B and they can easily be replaced.
  21. This is a game that exemplifies why managers really don't matter as much in the MLB. Everything before the game, keuchal, lineup and defense looked like it would be a giveaway game. Have all the wrong moves and sometimes they win. Do all the right ones and sometimes you lose.
  22. The end of the game was a lot of Katz. Who is available and who he thinks is ready for the role of closer in the 9th.
  23. I think Matt Ryan still holds the copyright.
  24. Why the #$%@! would you says this before the game is over. You're to blame if they lose. ?
