  1. Sure looked gassed with IL stints and decreased performance at the end of the year and playoffs.
  2. They are trying to decrease the load on the starters early so they aren't gassed at the end of the year like last year.

I'm thinking hitting to. The ball shouldn't deflate in cold weather as they are supposed to monitor it and adjust the ball to the specific requirements.
  4. Got it. I guess I'm old as I remember the beginning but lost interest soon thereafter.

Wasn't there talk of all stadiums having a humidor for the balls this year? Did that ever happen and could that be the difference?

I'm the NFL though accuracy is the key. Change the pressure slightly and the QB can can be more or less accurate. He is trying to put the ball in an exact spot. In baseball it's not as exact. I would say it's more important in football. They do have exact standards but it's the enforcement that is lacking as they allow the QBs to basically do what they want.

  8. I worked security for one of their concerts in college. They were so drunk they couldn't stand up let alone speak. The fans were not happy. One of the few concerts where we actually had to work when doing security. Unfortunately, one of them passed away very early due to dementia so it became literal.

  14. Didn't even need that. The app is on my firestick.
  15. This can't be accurate. His missed at least 2 with surgeries.
  16. Most if the comments were against his 3 year contract and the overall money in the bullpen of which he was the biggest contract. Velasquez was a minimal singing at 4 million I think
  17. If it's only 100 innings it will be. That's only 18-20 starts.
  18. Sox shouldn't have signed him as they shouldn't have spent so much money on the bullpen./sarcasm
  19. It's hilarious. She can't pronounce it.
  20. I thought that was his 3rd hitter.
  21. Better splits for the switch hitter.
  22. Didn't Bummer have to come in for the first hitter?
  23. No it's the apple team. The female is the play by play person for the Orioles. The male is Chris Young, ex Sox farm hand.
  24. If he only pitches that many the Sox would be short a starter for the playoffs
