  1. I agree. That's why I said they were concentrated in a few players. They were generally a healthy team.
  2. It was just concentrated on a few players with significant injuries.
  3. Some people can't help but to focus on the negative all the time.
  4. That's a possibility. He really does seem like a west coast guy.
  5. Danks and Buehrle come to mind. Burns, Dotson and Bannister from the old days. But thise were the bad contracts that scared JR from long term deals to pitchers.
  6. Interesting. I like the change. My OCD immediately likes the correct symmetry of the placement of 2B.
  7. Sox have a history of extending their own pitchers. Better than fair chance he signs one.
  8. SRV was awesome. I was at the show the night before he died. Maybe he meant his brother Jimmy? An outstanding guitar player himself.
  9. It's odd that he calls his foot rigid. That doesn't have anything to do with his Achilles. The Achilles is definitely less pliable after 2 surgeries.
  10. Harrison will bat 9. Flip moncada and grandal. Sheets will DH if a RHP starts.
  11. Probably him or Sheets to start in RF.
  12. Don't you start talking positive about the Sox. You will he labeled as a a person to carry their water or be mocked as a person who just doesn't see reality.
  13. That's right. Very weird scenario.
  14. Nevermind. Obviously a serious day due to the extent of the injury
  15. that when players dive on the ground they can get a bruise?
  16. I bet the over for CWS, Det, MIL. Other than that I agree.
  17. That's pretty much the best case. Seems odd they waited so long to say anything. Maybe an MRI to see if there was a small fracture for the pelvis?
  18. Yeah, there is always the "precautionary" MRI which shows nothing.
  19. Just guessing but I don't think a contusion would need to wait for further evaluation. So hip pointer is probably out. Not for sure but the longer it goes on the less likely that what it is. It starting to look like a possible tear of the labrum or a hip flexor. Most likely soft tissue.
  20. His was technically a subluxation. The femur came out but went back in. The ligamentum teres was torn during the injury. Thie ligamentum teres has an artery that carries blood to the head if the femur. Bo Jackson's issue was that the femoral head has avascular necrosis due to the lack of blood supply. This is essentially the bone dying. Thus he didn't have a hip joint and needed the hip replacement.
  21. This is all true. Edema does cloud MRI.
  22. It wasn't a dislocation. He wouldn't be able to get up let alone stand on it. A subluxation is possible but unlikely.
  23. Hopefully we are right. That's a minor issue.
  24. Sorry, I was traveling and didn't see it. He lands on it but no obvious indication as to what the injury is. Hip pointer or labral injury perhaps. But that's total guess work based on the two most likely due to the impact.
