It is a conundrum. The analytics do show teams a more effective way to win. However, itdoes make for a more boring game. It really brings out the fans of winning vs. fans of the game.

Don't give the pass rushers the opportunity to get to the QB? This is a revolutionary idea from the tape. I'm shocked no one has come up with this before. I say teams should practice this. This must be the new analytics in football.

The defense sure wasn't ready to tackle. How many 5 yard passes were turned into 50 or 60. How many runs went through 6 defenders. Maybe they should have practiced at least once last week.

As many others have pointed out, this stat as many others counts for good and bad teams. Determine this stat against only top 10 teams or against the top 20 pitchers in the game. This is when stats may really mean something for post season performance.

You mean that it's an accident that the white minority lives in more rural areas? There are plenty of non-white minority living in the rural areas of the south. Not typically in Idaho or Wyoming though.

It's still the minority as you like to point out. Everyone should have a voice and representation. Just because it historically disagrees with your viewpoint doesn't mean they shouldn't have representation.

This is my exact situation. Noon games all the way. Too many games to be tired on Monday or Tuesday mornings. My students don't like it when I'm tired and cranky.

This has more to do with the poor quality of the product to broadcast IMO. They need to find someway to entertain themsekves without crapping all over the team.

I think that the Mack pick up allows the Bears to win games while playing a more conservative game and let Trubiskey learn as he goes. Its really the best of both worlds if they can make the playoffs while Nagy learns to be a head coach and Trubiskey learns how to be an NFL QB.

It could very well have been more of a subluxation (partially dislocated but didn't really come out of the joint capsule). If thats the case then the return would be earlier.

Without surgery it will be close. Its 6-12 weeks depending on if other structures were damaged such as the labrum. With surgery, he will miss the season.

I would hope you would. Those numbers were from an 8 year NFL veteran not a guy who has less than a full NFL season and only one college season. Trubiskey will have well over a 60% completion because they are going to slowly work him into the system. He may have a positive td/int ratio. Depends on how soon they open up the offense. Like it or not they drafted a project and just like the Sox rebuild, they need to stick with it and progress him as he can. If they give him too much too soon, he will cause too many issues and the defense won't win them games. What you see now and what he, Nagy and the offense look like at the end of the season will be very different things.

I don't think there is even a remote chance this happens. It took Alex smith 2-3 years to get good in this offense and he had the advantage of being an NFL QB for years.

I have no doubt he did these things as it's required at Catholic high schools. However, that in no way means he didn't commit the crimes.
