  1. In the scenarios you are proposing, who is a high end pitching prospect from the Orioles?
  2. Who is the high end pitcher in these scenarios?
  3. Because there weren't any real good options to add. They already had a player on the roster with closing experience.
  4. As a group it looks like 2mil savings over projected cost.
  5. It is but not a good one. As we've seen.
  6. It's not a steal if Ferris does indeed become the top pitching prospect in the dodgers organization.
  7. I think it's the same as our discussion about this year's pick. Fields can be good. But anyone valued as a top 2 pick in the draft is going to have the chance to be an elite player.
  8. I can't see how anyone would grade fields above stroud. They chose the draft pick capital and Moore over stroud/young. For their situation they needed the capital. Different situation this year.
  9. So to get good value they need to trade him with 2years left on his deal. They have him for 2 more years.
  10. He answered it the proper way the third time it was asked Essentially, we like where we are at with the addition of Moore, Wright and all the other picks we acquired.
  11. When is his current contract up? Does he need to be traded after this year or next?
  12. No it's not. They had a pretty high payroll to begin with and they had no idea when he was going to return.
  13. Why are you assuming there is instability or that Eberflus is a lame duck coach. Doesn't he have 2 more years on his contract?
  14. No it's not. What if the next head coach is awful at his job?
  15. This is a hot topic for research for overuse injuries in Sports right now. Many articles being published on it.
  16. That's the way it should be. Each team hired the GM to create a winning team. They should let them do it as they see fit. If it fails they should be fired.
  17. Agreed, not a fan of his offense. Still like Reich and the fact that they have worked together successfully in the past.
  18. Since they are keeping Eberflus the discussion with the OC would need to include a discussion of the bears commitment to him.
  19. Unfortunately, they lost the primary bullpen pitcher to cancer. That was a significant part of that.
  20. That's not going to happen. No one hits on everything 100%.
  21. I agree. Maybe it's the learning process of sitting and watching.
  22. Each QB sat for years to learn the position. Maybe that's the common link.
  23. Unless the OC is Reich who could take over as HC.
