  1. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jan 26, 2006 -> 11:32 AM) 48G, 151AB, 9HR, 24RBI, 52BB, 26SO, .245/.433/.503/.936 Thanks. Not real impressive.
  2. QUOTE(Felix @ Jan 26, 2006 -> 11:30 AM) But SBIMI said world series Here's the quote: question and response.
  3. QUOTE(Rex Kickass @ Jan 26, 2006 -> 11:28 AM) I think Hamas in a Palestinian government will be good for the region. I'll explain when I get free time at work. I'll be all ears .. or in this case, eyes.
  4. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Jan 26, 2006 -> 11:30 AM) Isn't that what they're doing? Who? Who's doing it? Who's leading the charge and saying let's stop this?
  5. QUOTE(Felix @ Jan 26, 2006 -> 11:30 AM) But SBIMI said world series So now someone decides to listen to something he said.
  6. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jan 26, 2006 -> 11:21 AM) Bonds' career WS numbers are just ridiculous. 7G, 17AB, 4HR, 6RBI, 13BB/3SO, .471/.700/1.294 So when on the grandest stage Bonds sure does produce nicely. I said post season.
  7. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Jan 26, 2006 -> 11:22 AM) I'm still sitting here actually feeling a little guilty on that one...simply because I can't figure out a good way to answer it. The President at least has a legal defense (albiet a flimsy one), which means that the Democrats in the Congress are in no position to declare it illegal - the Congress makes laws, the judicial branch interprets laws. But I still don't see a damn thing they could do to actually put an end to it or even enforce oversight on it. What's the problem with going to the people with it. They convince the people, the rest of the dominos will fall.
  8. QUOTE(NorthSideSox72 @ Jan 26, 2006 -> 11:18 AM) Funny how you turned the President's questionable (I'd say illegal) actions into somehow being the fault of Democrats. We've slid off into the partisan BS again. Not at all. If he's in violation of the constitution, the Dems should put up or shut up. I'm not blaming them for anything. I am calling their asses out though.
  9. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jan 26, 2006 -> 11:17 AM) Haha, didn't even notice that he mentioned Vlad's name. You'd figure someone who supposidly watches Sox games would have seen him lay a massive egg in the playoffs last year. I keep waiting for someone to come up with Barry Bonds career post season stats.
  10. QUOTE(Steve Bartman's my idol @ Jan 26, 2006 -> 11:14 AM) Then bet me!!! BTW, dob 01/01/1962!!! That's funny. You really come across like a 14 year old. I apologize for being wrong.
  11. QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Jan 26, 2006 -> 11:12 AM) uh oh, another Admin pwning? Nah. I'm only a mod.
  12. A 14 year old lawyer. Wow! I'm impressed.
  13. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Jan 26, 2006 -> 10:44 AM) They have already started to do so... A couple of days ago they were quoted in the papers as saying they would talk to Israel again. I heard that they refused to change their "stance" regarding the elimination of the state of Isreal.
  14. This discussion is not worth having.
  15. QUOTE(Steve Bartman's my idol @ Jan 26, 2006 -> 10:22 AM) Dude...you just said that I can't base my opinion of MB based one his having one good season...he has had as many, if not more good seasons than any of the pitchers I have just mentioned. Mark Buehrle vs. Roger Clemens. Hmmmm. Let me consider that for a moment. Are you out of your mind?
  16. QUOTE(kapkomet @ Jan 26, 2006 -> 10:12 AM) I don't bank on this, but I hope now that Hamas has 'real power' (whatever that means in Palestine) they will renounce the old and actually negotiate. Time will tell. Don't. Hold. Your. Breath.
  17. QUOTE(kapkomet @ Jan 26, 2006 -> 10:13 AM) Bring the ACTUAL CASE to the American people, let's not spew the rhetoric. So far, I've seen nothing that can rise to the level that he's "broke the law" other then a bunch of speculation as to what people THINK the program is doing. If Bush is in violation of the law or the constitution, all these people that have been throwing these accusactions around here should be extremely PISSED at the Democratic leadership for not throwing down the gauntlet. Until one of them finds the gonads to do so, this is nothing more than rhetoric. Pure political rhetoric.
  18. QUOTE(mreye @ Jan 26, 2006 -> 08:01 AM) Holy s***! You're going to tear a hole in the universe. No. Just a warp in the space-time continueum.
  19. QUOTE(kapkomet @ Jan 26, 2006 -> 09:05 AM) For all my points about this program, it's a troubling issue. I just keep throwing out there that we don't know all the facts, and we should watch our conclusions. I will also say that I'm troubled by token gestures by Specter. If you're going to get an answer, GET AN ANSWER, let's not play games. I want to know the right answer here, not guess on a bunch of rhetoric and speculation. Exactly. I also want to know if any of the Democrats that are accusing Bush of breaking the law have stepped up to podium and said "Let's get this stopped!" ... Don't try and tell me their hands are tied. They're not. There is no way in hell that if the president is in violation of the constitution that John Kerry or Hillary Clinton or whoever could not do something about it.
  20. QUOTE(Texsox @ Jan 26, 2006 -> 07:14 AM) Awesome book. It should be required reading for anyone living in Chicago. I am working on Savanah, a historical romance novel set in the south during the Civil War. Amazing what one will do for love. I am also trying to learn all I can about sailing. I am interviewing for a position that would have me running a camp out on an island in the gulf. Scuba, fishing, sailing, boogie boarding, etc. Good luck with that.
  21. QUOTE(Texsox @ Jan 26, 2006 -> 07:08 AM) I'm starting the Homeless, Indigent, Professional Picketing & Information Enterprise for these people. Starting next month HIPPIE will be out in force whenever and where ever we are needed. If you need someone to stand outside a job site and picket for days on end, call HIPPIE. We have nothing else to do. Too busy working to complain about the poor Bush economy? Call HIPPIE. To busy pulling that ski boat behind your SUV to protest high gas prices? Call HIPPIE! Tired of just sticking cause magnets on your car? Call HIPPIE. Let us do the picketing. Additional charges may apply for hard to rhyme slogans, poor weather, weekends, or Republican causes. I'm going to unionize your labor force.
  22. QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Jan 25, 2006 -> 02:39 PM) Eye chihuahua.
  23. QUOTE(Texsox @ Jan 25, 2006 -> 01:37 PM) Are you refering to the homeless being better picketers or the union carpenters being better skilled? Either way, I agree with you. If you take all the Union guys in one group and everyone who claims to be a carpenter in the other, I'll take the average of the union group before the average of the non-union group. Evil, that's not to say that there aren't some very excellent carpenters and other tradesmen without a union card. That was exactly my point. Thank you.
  24. Since it's become apparent that some of us think Bush is in violation of the law, and others diagree and those opinions are not going to change based on what we now right now, let me ask this question. Are any of the Democratic leaders do anything to stop this? If so, who's doing it and what are they doing?
  25. QUOTE(Hawkfan @ Jan 26, 2006 -> 12:50 AM) how do you pronounce that name.. i never bothered to find out after i saw that 500 foot bomb hit off him during clean up work... i hear hes the s*** though from you guys..is he ranked by baseball america?
