Lets convert Carrasco to a starter. I know it sounds crazy and hasty, but of our long relievers why just automatically default to Richard? He hasnt had the success as a major leaguer that Carrasco has over this season and last. Obviously Richard has upside but it'd be nice to see it for a longer stretch as a reliever first. Interestingly each has pitched 60 innings over the last two years, and although many more of those for Richard are starter innings, the results have a huge disparity. If we're trying to win now I dont know what Clayton gives us.

OK! I'm fine with decreased production from Thome from these last few years. Just up the timeliness of your RBIs. oddly enough that all seems to be happening.

Vazquez is plenty OK for lower in the rotation. We're missing him now. That is not to say i wouldnt do the trade, but if we wanted to win this year, he wouldve been a help lower in the rotation.

Ozzie pretty much lies to the media. More than likely, he just says something to the media for the sake of saying it and later thinks about what his real opinion is. How many times will this happen til we realize that Ozzie isnt constantly changing his mind so much as he's talking out of his you know what 24/7 I like Clayton. Hopefully he can become something decent here.

A couple of times in his Sox career, Thome has been thought to be done, only to get hot and make his year's numbers solid. If he were to come back very cheap, it would be low risk production per dollar, a good amt of it perhaps.
