Maybe among a certain subset of meatball fans on both sides. Seriously, the Cubs aren't even in the the f***ing AL. At best you play them a couple times every year and then in the WS. And the article you linked is just classic "well I gotta write something with a narrative arc" filler. Personally I'm thrilled for Q. I'm happy he's finally going to get more attention, and perhaps some wins as well. I couldn't give a f*** less about how he helps the Cubs. The Sox just got perhaps the best pure hitting prospect in MLB back and a guy that throws 101 and it projects as his 2nd best pitch for him. We got as well as we gave. I understand that LIVING in Chicago might make it SEEM like the Cubs and Sox are big rivals but they aren't, not in any sense on the field anyways.

I am giddy thinking of all the walks Eloy and Moncada are going to take over the next decade on the south side. These are not your typical WS tools only prospects.

Looks like 3-5 is the likely range with small odds of moving up to 2 or out of the top 5. That's fine IMO. Number one would be great but the Sox still have too much talent to lose 100+ it seems.

I love it. Game the system as much as possible. This is a way more interesting prospect than anybody they could have gotten for under 300k, even if they signed a few of those types.

The cubs won a WS last year, what's the worst thing that happens they win another? f*** that, help the Sox, if it helps the Cubs that's fine we need to help ourselves anyway possible.

Ideally you'd like to add more up the middle prospects at C,CF,SS. But every team can say that. At this point they can perhaps start to consider positional need, which is pretty amazing considering where they were entering this season.

I'm putting it at a 9 depending on how the rest of this season plays out. This is really incredible. From zero top 100 guys to potentially 12-14 once Hahn is done dealing.

Time to get moncada up. He has nothing much to gain against AAA hitting IMO. Not having a crazy year slash wise only solid, but he should start getting MLB seasoning IMO. Just to keep him hungry and to be around other pros in the Show.

I used to really enjoy these from FG but it's become obvious that teams don't really value these guys the same way FG (or at least Cameron) do. And even then, it's so fluid that trying to do a "yearly" list doesn't really work. What was Aaron Judge's trade value in April? What will it be when he comes back to earth next summer? Just an example.

Luckily for the draft pick, the team is regressing offensively and unless Lopez comes up and dominates I don't see much positive regression for the SP either. This is looking closer to a 70 win team than an 80 win team. For a while it wasn't really clear. I will be happy anywhere in the top 5. It looks like a pretty strong draft at the top from what I can tell. Sox should be able to add a position player stud in the 3-5 range.

There's two common types of injury to the meniscus, which is like a pad that your knee joint uses as cushioning, lateral and medial tears. Usually a lateral tear is considered worse than a medial tear but often times in young athletes if it's minor enough to where he was playing on it, rest is the prescribed course of action and if the pain persists than you go under the knife for a repair. If it's a one time thing there's no worry but if it's something chronic for him it will impact his career and be something to worry about. As for the idea that this injury was caused by being in DR that's just laughable. This could happen to any young athlete, anywhere, especially one ramping up activity after a period of inactivity in their chosen sport. The Sox no doubt have very good doctors and facilities down there to evaluate him, that's not even a minor concern IMO. If he does have to have surgery, which is unlikely given the seeming severity, he will probably have it done in the States. For now we just have to wait and see how his knee feels in a week or two. The best case will be he's back in action, the worst case will be the pain and inflation persists and he has to have a surgical repair. But even then, it's a very common procedure, NBA players have it quite frequently, and as I side, unless it becomes a chronic issue, it's a one time repair and the player returns 100%.
