No reason to panic but if he's hitting 210 in Kannapolis this time next year he's hardly a prospect. Next year is the make or break. If he sticks at catcher he wont' have to hit much more than 220/300/400 in the bigs anyways.

Most excited I will probably be all season other than when Lopez and Moncada come up later in the summer. I know I'm going to be annoyed with his arm side command problems though.

If anything it just goes to show how much weaker pitching is in the NL overall than AL. He goes to the NL and sees a 20% or so pump in his offensive production. The braves also seem to realize Tyler has a reverse platoon slit and is much better against RHP than LHP. And lastly they are keeping him fresh, as he's only on pace to start about 100 games. I never properly valued Tyler's defensive contributions but my god the hand wringing over at SSS about letting him go was absurd. Yea it was in hindsight the wrong move but come on the Sox have made much bigger mistakes.

Q's trade value is probably about the same after today as it was in the offseason, he's corrected the fastball command problems for the most part.

Yolmer turning into a solid regular is one of the best things possible for Moncada, at this point just leave him down until September and let Yolmer keep getting the PA, maybe you can flip him in the offseason.
