QUOTE(hi8is @ Jun 30, 2006 -> 10:16 PM) yeah, like they make TONS of money off soxtalk maybe its their wet dream =P I'm sure the site costs a lot of money to maintain and host, not to mention time. Anything to help defray the costs of running such a great site should make everyone happy.

Memo to Vasquez: take your dump before the game, not during.

white sox and the band, RADIOHEAD
I need to listen to more from "The Pixies". Interesting call about Fugazi. My initial foray into "alternative" music was through dancehall, punk, and ska-core. I found Fugazi a few years ago, tried to get into them, but failed. I'm mostly a sucker for easy indie pop songs these days. I also enjoy "synth pop", or "glitch pop", and electronic and undie hip hop. Pretty much I just love music, and love talking about it. Kinda like the Sox.

Yo, name some influential bands Mags that you think eclipsed Radiohead. I'm interested as I'm a huge music fan. Lets, see, that would be 1986. I was born in 83, so a bit young to remember those bands, but I remember the mid 90's well, and early 90's not so much. Here are some more off the top of my head. Nirvana Radiohead Beck Pavement The Smashing Pumpkins Outkast

I'd guess some come from Mlive, or just from google. Maybe Kenny Rogers is ready to return to earth for his patented 2nd half swoon.

QUOTE(Jimbo @ Jun 30, 2006 -> 07:49 PM) the mod's opened pandora's box. More users, better pagerank, better advertising, better server, better graphics, etc. I think they welcome the new traffic for the most part, even if it means their job gets a bit harder.

The Tigers always seem to be ahead in the game early, just like the Sox when they're rolling. These are too good teams.

AND THAT'S A WHITE SOX WINNER!!!
QUOTE(bmags @ Jun 30, 2006 -> 07:27 PM) always nice to take the first game of a series... It is, and I can't remember the last time we lost the first--Texas maybe? [edit] good guess me: it was against Texa--on June 2nd! On a fun side note, the Cubs have been swept in 8 of their last 17 series!
