I mean there are examples of extremely cheap franchises outperforming the White Sox recently, a couple in our own division. I agree JR is a massive problem, probably the worst owner in baseball, but on his own merits Getz has done pretty poorly so far. Getz is lucky that the Rockies have taken some heat off imo. He's out of the national headlines.

Be nice to get Tauchman back and add another decent bat. I'm about done with the Michael A Taylor experience. Seems like a nice guy, decent glove, couldn't hit 200 with a metal bat.

It's disgusting as a fan of these teams to know that the league set it up this way. Not all owners but a majority are OK with subsidized losing. Certainly ours.
