  1. Could be just an early batch right? Not that it's any better from a competitive standpoint to have such differences but I can see them tinkering like that.
  2. That's interesting. See if it holds.
  3. Guys with tight prostates will have to put in another quarter after getting the stream started takes a bit longer than it used to.
  4. jeez where at? the passes saw another three feet last week. just hope it makes "fire season" not a thing this year. our snow pack is still gaining bigly into May.
  5. yea same, looks like we'll see some warmth late this week and into the weekend thank god.
  6. Worst april weather I can remember here. Looks like that garbage system that gave us hail and snow middle of last week (in mid fucking april) made it to the midwest.
  7. Jose has had some bad luck. Good to see him at least hitting some balls hard. I always just worry one year he's going to completely fall off into a 240/300/440 guy.
  8. I'm a little worried about Jose and Eloy. If both those guys are 750 OPS hitters this year you're looking at a 4-5 WAR dropoff and that's enough to bring the division into play around 88 games instead of 92 win wise. I know it's cold and spring was abbreviated but Jose's bat has been slowing for years and Eloy's ability to be more than a guess hitter remains firmly in doubt.
  9. Totally expected. With inflation running closer to 20% annually for many food items (much higher than the 7-8% CPI index) there's almost zero chance of a big conglomerate like the food service companies (including whoever serves most the food at G-Rate) not passing that onto the consumer. Personally I've always tried to get a few beers in me outside the park. Last good deal I found was a $3.50 20 oz Bud at Camden and that was 10 years ago now. Beers at Safeco (T-Mobile) are $12 and up.
  10. 10 miles in 30 minutes on the bike for the warmup followed by a grueling leg day. I'm ready. Not really but I'm going anyways. Ate an entire bag of easter candy last night.
  11. not only does he suck, he's also slow AF.
  12. What. The. Fuck. Are. You. Looking. For?
  13. that ball is in the 5th row in July.
  14. it was not even close to the same neighborhood as the wise catch, rays announcing crew is clueless.
  15. god damnit. about to turn this one off and hit the gym.
  16. should have been an easy out at home and maybe a double play.
  17. Our defensive positioning seems to suck.
  18. It was more than that even. They batted like a 130 wrc+ in the 7th and 8th innings in close games. It was fun and thrilling but pretty much a total fluke. They will struggle to win 82 games this year they have big holes unless Kelenic and Julio are stars. No indications they are even replacement level right now.
  19. With the 2-6 start I totally get the frustration with the lineups.
