Umps have to see the writing on the wall with ABS, at least you'd hope so.

that didn't take long.

am I tripping or does mune have a little hitch in his swing there?

kay is the most bipolar guy batter to batter imaginable.

that was a nasty fucking pitch there, teach that one to Noah. 95 diving in at the lefty?

come on one more out.

great piece of hitting.

3 runs ain't winning this game.

I'd love to have Bacon on play by play and Plesac on color next year.

Looks like Peters is trying to go oppo more but it's not working for him.

Right down the middle fouled off. Never ends well.

Whenever you think Chase is going to turn into a 1 WAR player he perks up again. Interesting ass player. Homeless man's version of Pedroia is still decent starter.

Good AB. Make him work Vargas.

they got the roof closed I'd hope.

Bats are fucking asleep. Goodness.

It is extremely hard to come back midseason after missing 4-5 weeks. Certainly for young players and rookies. Give him another two weeks to get ramped up fully, at least he's taking his walks.

There's nobody else than can cover SS and CF as the backup. He's perfect in the 26th man role. He stunk as a starting CF. One of my comps when he was acquired was Leury. That looks about right.

I just saw the video of John dropping the nachos. We'll blame him for last night.

I agree but also at this point the dugout mood matters and we don't want to discourage that. A tepid buying trade of our like 8th best guy, 15th best guy and a lotto ticket for a middling SP under control for another year or two, and a middling useful reliever relative to our internal options, with us picking up 5 million makes a lot of sense.

Bonemer bomb and Roch took some sick swings on Hit Trax at the draft camp after debuting at the #5 overall prospect on the BA update. Today was a good day imo.

Yea, and on the other hands Robert was the smoothest looking 2 WAR player of all time. It's a skill based sport largely, which we all tend to forget scouts and gms and fans alike.

I was watching autistically on youtube the other day, a lot of elite throws from the OF and every single guy, whether that's 5-9 ichiro or 6-3 Vlad Guerrero is getting full extension horizontally, often leaning their center of gravity backwards before launching. Vlad and Bo would do it so well. You can't uncork a super long one without that.

Yea, time to burn one and play some vidya. we'll do it again tmr.

To me it looks like he's protecting his shoulder. Really low release point from the OF.
