quietly has turned in 1.4 fWAR. what do 2.5-3 WAR utility guys go for? I have no idea and dude is probably going to be looking for a payday come FA, he's earned it. Not sure he's really a 2.5 WAR utility guy but if he is I'd imagine the Sox will lose him if they don't trade him. Some other team will pay him to start I'd imagine.

Yup we have two legit starters at the moment. Lopez ain't it. He hasn't developed a single bit since he got here. He might even have worse secondary pitches today than when he came over. Obviously you try him the rest of the year but he's a reliever, maybe an opener, long term without a massive improvement.

He appears as bad at 1st as he is in RF. He's had his chances and he's been proven unworthy. @BackDoorBreach he did and nothing has changed from his earlier look except now we know he sucks at 1st too.

I don't ever need to see Palka again. He's completely broken and the quintessential AAAA player with one tool that plays at the MLB level.
