In case anyone missed it, we broke through the all-time recorded low for arctic sea ice extent over the weekend and we're still going (usually the yearly minimum is sometime in early september). Do take note of the fact that the bottom of this graph is not zero, however, we're clearly on a trend to threaten zero within a decade or less.
