It's not interesting to see a completely powerful god go up against an evil villain, so you have to have something built in the plot line to take away some of those powers (Kryptonite, voluntarily giving up powers, whatever) so that you can put together a storyline with any drama to it.

Id have to see what figures the first person used, but they seemingly cant be right as Big + SEC is more than 22 schools, and I guarantee almost every Pac-10 team makes money after their new tv deal. There's a big bookkeeping question there though. Somehow I doubt that the $30 million Ohio State spends on "Football expenses" includes "Paying for their stadium in the first place". That money was contributed by the school, but if you count that, and all of the other arenas, the bookeeping winds up fundamentally different.

That meant we couldn't just win the division if Dunn, Rios, and Peavy got better, that'd just take us back to where we were last year, we also needed a number of other guys to get better for this team to be better. We needed nothing to go wrong, and Chris Sale has already gone wrong.
