I have been looking everywhere but I can't find how many votes Derek Jeter recieved. I was wondering how many he got and see how close it really was? Congrats Scotty and Good Luck at the game kid
-
I want to see Scotty get into the All-Star game before Jeter or Matsui...this will totally piss off good old George. But I also think Scott deserves it, I also want the Sox to steal some valuble pitching away from George and the Yanks, just to hear him b**** and moan and see the Yanks miss the postseason. Keep Voting for Scott

I was just wondering how long the Herm will be out of comision? I understand he is or had a death in the family but I am curious when he will make his return to the South Side?

Rumors around baseball are that Roy Halladay will start the All-Star game for the American League. Eventhough I am a Sox fan, I believe that Buehrle or Garland should start because they both have better stats then Halladay. Who knows, one of the two Sox pitchers will start the game. But for now everyone in baseball is all over Halladay and have blinders on to Buehrle and Garland. Ozzie said in the news he would prefer that no White Sox pitcher start the All-Star game, beacuase it would mess up the rotation. Garland will make his first All-Star game this year and Buehrle will be in his, I'm guessing, his 5th game. Lets hope Franconna comes to his senses and picks the right pitcher to start the game that will determine if the Sox will have home-field advantage come October.

The Gigantic all encompassing TRADE THREAD

Rumors are that the White Sox are willing to deal Brandon McCarthy and a player to be named later for Florida's A.J. Burnett. The flame-throwing young talent in Florida could be a good fit in the Chi-town. But, I'm still not thrilled on giving away BMac. -
Hell Yes Those f***ers r going down

Where is Garland???

Dusty has become what all Cub managers are...A total bust when he came to the Cubs lol. He hasn't done a thing with the talent he had or has, and he is very dishonest with the health of his players. Maybe he should take a page from Ozzie's book on "How to Be Loved by the City and Have a Succesfull team." OZZIE is GOD

80% got the second and last ones wrong

David Wells Fat piece of monkey s***..never did a single thing for the team. I think Ozzie could have pitched better than him that year.

Since 1988...when i was born

Remember Kelly Dransfeldt, the 6'5" shortstop who was clutch last year. Why does no noe talk about him anymore and where is he? I like Dransfeldt and I would like to see him up the middle for the Sox.

I am sure everyone heard about the controversy between Former Sox star Ron Kittle and Barry Bonds. If not then heres a quick run down, Kittle asked for Bonds' autograph 12 yrs ago at Wrigley and Bonds said "I do not sign for white people" Bonds says this never happened and called Kittle a liar. What do you all think? because we are all Sox fans. Do you believe Bonds or is Kittle telling the truth? What is everyones stand.

What do you think about Mike Cameron playing for the South Siders again? He wasn't that bad when he played here, but where would he play if they did get him.

The Erstad collision compared to the Burke one.
wilmot825 replied to wilmot825's topic in Pale Hose Talk
I think that Hunter is a douche bag and had no right plowing Burke who did not even have the ball. -
I saw the replays and I thought Erstad had the right to plow Estrada because Estrada had his leg blocking the corner of the plate. When Tori "F-ing" Hunter plowed Jamie Burke, Burke was not anywhere near the plate and Hunter trucked his ass. I terms of impact, which was a harder hit; Erstad on Estrada or Hunter on Burke?

Hopefully this won't be a repeat of last year!

No, what I am saying is lets not have that feeling of last season. Lets take it to them and win the series and the World Series. -
Now I just want one more good thing for this season, and that is that the Chi Sox win atleast 2of3 or sweep the Cubs. I do not want the Cubs doing what they did last year when the Sox won the first 2 games and lost the final 4 games. Ozzie better fire up these guys and let them all remember last year. f***ing MArte. Lets finish this season with a series win over the Cubs and a World Championship. Go SOx

Fairwheater fans.....The Sox are in first...thats why people are cheering....not because they are REAl Sox fans.

Brantley can shove his comments straight up his ass along with the cubs fans too.

All the talk is about Chavez for Crede and BMac. I do not know why the Sox are considering trading BMac because he is the future SP in the rotation. Chavez is batting a .218 with 4 hrs this year, Crede is struggling but not that bad. When the Sox make the playoff push they will need to beef up that bullpen. Cotts, Vizciano, and Shingo are doing bad this year; so the Sox should try to get Danys Baez. He is a stud out of the pen and if he does not work then how about, Brandon Lyon from ARI. Think about it, good pen can get you far, and by the way Crede has amazing defense.
-
If the Sox need a player right now or down the road here is who they can get. Not only is he a Cy Young winner but is a good pitcher too. He is struggeling now but he needs a change in location. Barry Zito for Orlando Hernandez and Timo Perez. If not that then if they need power in the lineup look no further than Sean Burroughs of the Padres. He is looking for a new home and the Sox are interested. Joe Crede, Honel, and Perez for Sean Burroughs.
