  1. QUOTE (2nd_city_saint787 @ Nov 18, 2009 -> 02:40 PM) and since music is my passion and i see bruceeee made the list id like to give you guys a heads up on my #3 band(pretty sure they were) the gaslight anthem. i love turning people on to new great music and i think everyone young and old will love this band. What are you saying?
  2. QUOTE (Alpha Dog @ Nov 18, 2009 -> 12:37 PM) Sons still needs to answer what happened to the bodies that were in the burned down porn studio. Did they die, or did the guy with 2 fingers pull Darby out and they are holed up somewhere? Otherwise they have done well in tying things together. I'm positive that's going to come into play shortly. There's no way they could've just forgotten about it. There's a reason they showed the guy hiding in the room when the fire was started, and that they never mentioned a body being found. My guess is that Darby comes up big in bringing Zobelle down.
  3. Got Assassin's Creed II yesterday. I'll let you guys know how it is, as I should have plenty of time to play it the next few days (I had hernia surgery yesterday, ha).
  4. QUOTE (maggsmaggs @ Nov 18, 2009 -> 10:41 AM) Just started to watch Dexter the past couple of days. Wow. Pretty sweet yet disturbing show. But I am glued. If I didn't have two tests the next two days, it would be a Dexter marathon. John Lithgow has just been an incredible addition to the show. I know Dexter has to kill him eventually, but I really, really want them to somehow avoid that scenario if at all possible. The character is just so great.
  5. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Nov 18, 2009 -> 10:31 AM) Sons of Anarchy was just epic last night. There is so much going on. I'm not sure I've ever watched a show that had so many story lines developing at once, but they do it so well.
  6. Again, I'm surprised I had the highest vote for Bruce.
  7. I would've probably had Talking Heads on my list, but I'm sure I forgot them.

QUOTE (AssHatSoxFan @ Nov 16, 2009 -> 12:18 PM) go watch Hard Eight That another Sasha Grey movie?
  9. I'm surprised my ranking of Lynyrd Skynyrd at #12 is the highest vote they received.

QUOTE (FlaSoxxJim @ Nov 13, 2009 -> 09:42 AM) Ah crud, I forgot about the spoiler thingie. I thought I was the last person to see the film. Sorry. Psst, you haven't fixed it yet.
  11. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Nov 13, 2009 -> 08:40 AM) 97.1 usually breaks out the "deep cuts" with SMB, I bet this is on fairly often. Everytime i hear them do their deep cut program it seems like SMB is featured I swear I have never heard that song on the radio.
  12. QUOTE (FlaSoxxJim @ Nov 13, 2009 -> 07:40 AM) So come on get your rocks off, I'm gonna knock your socks off. Good stuff for sure, and it was on SMB's Greatest Hits so lazy 100% repetitive programing is the only reason classic rock stations seem to have forgotten this one. I swear I was born in the wrong decade. No type of music compares even remotely to classic rock and, to a lesser extent, Motown and oldies.
  13. I recently stumbled upon a pretty great classic rock that eluded me for years. I'm not sure why I have never heard it on the radio ever. True Fine Love by The Steve Miller Band.
  14. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Nov 12, 2009 -> 03:46 PM) That trophy really should have gone to the entire team. I'm not taking away what JD did, because he was fantastic as well, but every member of that team played their part at some point during the season or in the postseason to get that team the trophy. I'm pretty sure every player on the playoff roster played a key role at some point in the playoffs except for Timo.
  15. QUOTE (Jenks Heat @ Nov 12, 2009 -> 11:29 AM) I thought the episode was great. I do not think the fire thing was forgotten but will come back at some point. Why is it not brought up though? The vote was simply to allow Jax to leave if he wanted not that he was being thrown out. I think it sets up the remainder of this season pretty well. I agree that it sets up the rest of the season. I think I said that. There was just much less action this week than in the previous few weeks (which is to be expected, as tons of s*** went down).
  16. QUOTE (juddling @ Nov 11, 2009 -> 01:43 PM) wow...i'm surprised you could call that a boring episode. it wasn't a lot of gunplay or anything but i would say that episode was far from boring. Ranging from Lots of stuff happened and even more is in store for next week. One thing i did notice that i wonder if it was on purpose was I guess we'll have to wait and see.
  17. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Nov 11, 2009 -> 10:38 AM) I have strawberry blonde hair, and light freckles. If that makes me a ginger y'all can suck my nuts. My parents always told me not to play with fire.
  18. QUOTE (Disco72 @ Nov 10, 2009 -> 11:44 PM) SOA tonight...just wow! What an episode...so many things going on...so many questions going forward. That was seriously good television. I thought it was sort of boring, but it's one of those necessary boring episodes which sets up the rest of the season.
  19. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Nov 8, 2009 -> 07:11 PM) Looks like now the Red Sox need a new SS.. Officially at least. I don't even recall him getting traded to the Red Sox. Shows how much I paid attention to baseball this season.

QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Nov 8, 2009 -> 01:17 PM) Has anyone seen the new Boondock Saints movie? I know one person who has seen it so far, and he's the type of guy to love those kinds of movies. I know he really liked the first one, but he called All Saints Day the worst movie he'd ever seen. Apparently it's the first movie he's ever walked out of, and he wonders how it even got made. I tend to trust this guy's taste in movies.
  21. QUOTE (SoxFanForever @ Nov 7, 2009 -> 11:30 PM) Pretty solid card from what I watched. ****SPOILERS**** Gegard Mousasi is awesome. I love his fights. He looked good tonight. Shields was his usual boring self. After he realized he couldn't sub Miller he just did some LNP action for the rest of the fight. I think Miller is pretty fun and was hoping for him to catch Shields at some point. Fedor/Rogers was a good fight. Rogers looked like a threat during the first round. However, he had the same fate as the rest of Fedor's opponents. Man, that KO shot was so fast and brutal. Just like that, bam, it was over. The guy is simply amazing. He looks beatable and then does something crazy to win it. Like when he had him choked out, and Shields was saved by the bell?
  22. QUOTE (SHIPPS @ Nov 7, 2009 -> 01:04 PM) I met her through one of my good buddys that I work with. She is 26 and she works as a database admin at at&t. So yes we are both admins. lol She is a conservative christian and is a five tool player as far as a prospect. Does that mean you're not getting any yet?
  23. QUOTE (zenryan @ Nov 7, 2009 -> 01:25 AM) How is it entirely UCF's fault if their adidas reps gave them the ok for Jordan to wear his dad's shoes? Sorry, I meant between UCF and Jordan.
  24. I agree that it is entirely UCF's fault, but I think most people in Jordan's position (after learning that Adidas will pull their sponsorship of the school) would just do what is best for his team and school.
  25. QUOTE (lostfan @ Nov 6, 2009 -> 11:03 AM) I would flip the script and ask her why she hasn't internalized the fact that you hate Tyler Perry movies, and why she didn't tell her friends that when the suggestion was made resulting in you being in the awkward position of having to accept. Then again I'm kind of a dick. Instead of digging in or getting defensive, I counterattack. He can also politely remind her that he's not a fan of Tyler Perry, and use that to his advantage while still going.
