I think it's reasonable for any fan to start getting that feeling of hopelessness. We've never beaten the Twins for this division when both teams were competitive. They always beat us down the stretch, and the Sox always choke at the end of the year.

Two games into the their road trip, the Twins are 2-0. That's not good for us.

Since there's little point in watching the game that's on right now, I'm going to watch Road to Perdition. This is going to be my personal farewell to Paul Newman. To me, this was his greatest role. He was a guy I could never see as a bad guy, and then he went and pulled it off perfectly in this role.

I really hate it when we go on a nice roll, and then we lose to serious playoff contenders. It's disheartening.

I didn't see the second homer. Was it on a fastball?
