  1. QUOTE(Felix @ Feb 19, 2006 -> 01:35 AM) I just watched the highlights, and yea. He got robbed. Robinson got the sympathy vote for being short, but oh well, its only a dunk contest. Oh, it was definitely just a dunk contest. I don't even like basketball, but it's the principle of the thing. I hate to see someone get cheated like that. The crowd and the announcers showed their disapproval at the end results. It's not often that you hear the crowd boo or sit in stunned silence at a dunk contest.
  2. So, who agrees that Iguodala got robbed?
  3. Wow, that wasn't funny at all. I mean, I didn't even laugh inside. I just stared blankly at the computer screen.
  4. I think when Shingo was released, some people were wondering if it would affect Iguchi. Now, I know that Shingo and Iguchi didn't have the same friendship that Contreras and Duque do, but it's similar with having a fellow countryman around. The loss of Shingo didn't affect Iguchi, so I hope the same holds true for Contreras. Besides, plenty of people on the Sox speak Spanish.
  5. Ever since the Sox signed Redding, I've had this strange feeling that he's gonna come through for us.
  6. I want him to come into a game to get some work when we're up by like 7, so he can throw some of these pitches in front of us. That would be a site.
  7. 7 pitches? That's ridiculous. What are they?

QUOTE(Felix @ Feb 16, 2006 -> 11:23 PM) DukeNukeEm got unbanned and became admin?! DukeNukeEm got banned? If so, what did him in?
  9. Honestly, it's like the Cubs' organization tells these players to say bad things about the Sox. It wouldn't surprise me with that scumbag organization.
  10. It's nice that the White Sox organization has kept Jim Parque and Dan Wright around and given them jobs.
  11. Someone on the Tigers. The Farnsworth things aren't on there because that clip is from 2001 or 2002. At one point, it says "from last year," and the clip says that that particular brawl happened in 2000 or 2001.
  12. Where are those pictures from?
  13. QUOTE(BHAMBARONS @ Feb 13, 2006 -> 01:07 PM) So you say it was great that Lincoln was killed Why? and you have Washington is overrated why? Please give support for your statments Lincoln gave poisoned milk to school children.
  14. Wow, that got really off track.
  15. Go to the school that gives you the most money. That's what I did.
  16. Wow, I love all of the movies so far. I actually watched Mighty Ducks earlier.
  17. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Feb 13, 2006 -> 12:05 AM) Forgot another Truman one...he also integrated the Army. Good man. I personally like the guy for a couple reasons, besides his record as president. He came from pretty humble backgrounds, and he was just s*** on for a long time. The kind of guy you like to root for.
  18. QUOTE(Jeckle2000 @ Feb 13, 2006 -> 01:22 AM) Top 5 worst presidents: 5) Abarham Lincoln (thank god the bastard was shot) 4) Ronald Regan 3) Andrew Jackson 2) George Washington (so overrated) 1) ..... and GEORGE W. BUSH The W in his name stands for WORTHLESS PEICE OF s***! Ha, you've outdone yourself again. I can understand not putting Washington and Lincoln in the top 5, but to put them in the lowest 5?
  19. Looking at Buchanan, I realize Anthony Hopkins could play him in a movie.
  20. QUOTE(White Sox Josh @ Feb 12, 2006 -> 06:44 PM) I saw Lord of War on Saturday and I thought it was one of the best movies i have seen this year. It is so powerful especially the scenes in Sierra Leone where they show in detail the Blood Diamonds. One of the best anti-violence movies and a movie that needs to be shown in history class when they talk about Sierra Leone and Liberia. I also liked the dark humor and there are some scenes that are funny. A very brave performance by Nicolas Cage and Jared Leto turned in a great performance. Honestly, what History classes talk about Sierra Leone and Liberia, especially long enough to devote entire classes to the showing of Lord of War?
  21. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Feb 12, 2006 -> 06:49 PM) Harry Truman has to be somewhere up there...From the decision to drop the bomb, to the Marshall plan which rebuilt Europe and saved Western Europe from turning Communist, to the outlining or a policy of "containment" as a method of keeping the Soviets from overrunning the world but still avoiding nuclear war, to the massive reorganization of the War Dept. into something which could fight the cold war, to the dismissal of MacArthur over open defiance of the orders of the President, to the Berlin Airlift, the guy did a heck of a lot of good in a very very difficult time when the new post-war presidency was still learning its place. We may very well not have won the Cold War were it not for the way he started it. I was the first one to vote for him. Go me
  22. Rocky loves Emily. Rocky loves Emily. Rocky loves Emily.
  23. I loved Land Before Time. I really liked dinosaurs.
  24. That'd be a good discussion to have. What are some people's favorite childhood movies?
