  1. Buehrle has really done nothing against good teams, especially down the stretch.
  2. KW has about 2 days to save this offense.
  3. 1-2-3. The guys SUCK. But I hope they don't read this, it would break their hearts.
  4. We can really lose a lot of games in this series. Wait, is it 3 or 4 games? Either way, we're probably losing a few games in the standings this week.
  5. Our ace has lost his chance at the Cy Young, I fear.
  6. I never really thought we'd do well in this series. I think we'll win one, and two would be pretty good. Texas' offense is too good for us. Even with their crappy, crappy pitching, we're still unable to outscore them.
  7. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Aug 29, 2005 -> 07:13 PM) Obviously it's not or he'd be all for comming here and a guy like Palmeiro would have gone to the Cubs when they had a chance to win and he declined the trade because he wanted to stay in Texas. Griffey is wrong. And he should be coming here.
  8. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Aug 29, 2005 -> 04:59 PM) Griff is happy in Cincy, winning isn't everything. It's the only thing.
  9. Damn, I thought this was a trade rumor that just came out. I'm not thinking about the offseason yet.
  10. QUOTE(Steff @ Aug 29, 2005 -> 05:50 PM) That's is.. ugh.. it looked so promising.. then is fizzled. I was extremely disappointed. Robert DeNiro movies have sucked recently. He wants more screen time than his characters deserve or something like that. I probably watched Godsend the same time you were watching it. It definitely blew. Ring 1 sucked. I can't imagine the second one not being worse.
  11. QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Aug 29, 2005 -> 04:32 PM) If you are thinking about what Bologna is while you are eating it, then you arent gonna like it. Its one of those things thats better left unsaid. If something tastes good, I wouldn't mind what's in it. You know, as long as it wasn't excreted from something or is made of people. QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ Aug 29, 2005 -> 04:32 PM) I figure if a whole dorm floor pitches in, they can handle the purchase? Since in college I think I used gel toothpaste I'd jhave had to borrow sombody else's anyway. Using someone else's toothpaste is still cheaper than buying spackle. You gotta be wise with your money in college QUOTE(SnB @ Aug 29, 2005 -> 04:34 PM) fancy pants I use soap, too The high life, my friend, the high life.
  12. QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ Aug 29, 2005 -> 04:27 PM) Is toothpaste really that much less expensive than a small package of spackle? Remind me never to move in after any of you. Well, you usually have toothpaste around. You know, instead of going to an Ace or something
  13. The only thing we use to fix anything at school is duct tape. If you can't duct it, f*** it.
  14. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Aug 29, 2005 -> 04:12 PM) We had a pretty big parking lot at my HS, so a lot of things happened to cars. A couple buddies of mine had their cars f***ed with vaselin, bologna, eggs, spray paint among other helpful objects you'd find lying around the house. One guy hit my car with a carton of eggs so I put his head through his driver's side window. Ha, sucks to be that kid. Tex, my friend has done the toothpaste thing two years in a row now. We had an unfortunate incident in one room where someone was pissed and threw an empty plastic bottle of gatorade at the wall. And then someone else threw another bottle to mock him, and then 4 of us were throwing bottles at the wall for no reason whatsoever. It left plenty of indentations, but nobody was charged a dime.
  15. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Aug 29, 2005 -> 04:08 PM) Most of the time it will bubble the paint. Have you actually tried it? This is just one of those things I've heard a couple of times.
  16. Well, since this entire topic is random, let me throw something out there. I heard that if you throw a piece of bologna on the hood of a car and let it sit there on a hot day, it peels the paint off of the hood perfectly in a circle.
  17. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Aug 29, 2005 -> 03:50 PM) You have got to be s***ting me, did I just use the word "aloud"? I need hocked on phonics. Jesus
  18. I really don't hate any former players. Once they're gone, I forget about them and basically forgive them. Some current players, on the other hand...
  19. How do you find 50,000 virgins? I think it would be tough to find 10 that are roughly my age.
  20. QUOTE(robinventura23 @ Aug 29, 2005 -> 02:53 PM) There's plenty. I just can't narrow it down to one. Todd Ritchie Royce Clayton Juan Agosto Joe Borchard Mike Caruso "hate" is too strong a word for these guys. They just didn't cut it. "disliked" "drove me nuts" or "plain 'ol sucked" probably fits better. Jaime Navarro - you can say "hate" for this guy. Uh oh, here comes Kalapse...
  21. QUOTE(longshot7 @ Aug 29, 2005 -> 02:32 PM) a GREAT move!! This makes Baj eligible for the postseason roster, and as the rest of the league hasn't seen him yet, a secret weapon for the Sox. I thought the Jenks callup was too early, but this move reminds me of the K-Rod callup for the Angels in 2002 - of course they brought him up the last WEEK of the season, but oh well..... I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that Baj isn't anything near what K-Rod is or was. If anyone's our K-Rod, it's Jenks.
  22. OMG OMG OMG HOLY GOD IN HEAVEN THE BAJ! Well, this site finally got it's wish
